but seriously if you are in business and the rules are set for your competition, then you have no choice but to comply or go out of busines, or do something to change it (wich Kerry will do, and is attemting to do ) also do not forget that they have (the companies that Kerry and his family own) how many people employed IN the US, and provide how much in Tax revenue to the country, in how many different ways, and how much of his own money has he donated to things such as schools, churches, and community projects aimed at improving the community , before you just follow like a sheep, learn your FACTS!!! and not just from sound bites on the fox news channel please But as it is now Bush has forced even decent hard working american companies like Hienz to have to follow suit! or perish, and loose that many more american tax paying jobs! |

Teresa Heinz Kerry does not "own the Heinz Corporation" ? she has no involvement whatsoever with the management or operations of the H.J. Heinz Company, nor does she own anything close to a controlling interest of the company's stock. According to Heinz itself, the Heinz family trust which Mrs. Kerry inherited sold most of its shares of Heinz stock back in 1995 and currently holds less than a 4% interest in the company Moreover, the Heinz Company's operations are not an example of the type of outsourcing that is currently a hot political issue (i.e., sending out work to offshore companies to provide services which a company might otherwise have employed its own staff to perform). Heinz is a U.S.-based global business which sells its products in dozens of other countries, and like other food companies it has to localize some of its production at factories located in its foreign market areas. (It makes little sense from either an economic or a freshness standpoint to be shipping fruits and vegetables and/or finished food products halfway around the world rather than producing them locally.) One wouldn't expect, for example, every can and bottle of Coca-Cola sold anywhere in the world ? whether it be Australia, China, or Portugal ? to be produced by U.S. bottlers.) http://www.snopes.com/politics/kerry/heinz.asp |
Personally, I think all Republicans should be gassed and buried in lime pits. Kids too. That will leave more beer for those who are worthy. :glugglug

You're after attention, you watch TV and think you know something that matters more than the rest of us. Your best bet is Hillary in '08 :thumbsup |

February 11, 1999 As the impeachment trial of President Clinton was winding down, polls by ABC News and CBS News show Clinton's job approval rating at 66%. The president's approval rating has been in the 60s throughout the last year. http://www.jsonline.com/news/president/0211notes.asp Bush is not even close! :1orglaugh |

Any pornographer who supports or votes for Bush is an idiot and needs to think about it.
1) There is no denying that he will try to close us down with his "Moral Crusade" I say us as someone beyond his reach who will benefit from the removal of American porn companies. 2) By reducing the spending power of the working class he hurts this business even more. We make our money out of the millions spending money on pleasures. Reduce the money they have and the first thing to go is "Pleasure purchases" Look at your memberships and think how many of them were included in Bush's tax breaks. So what ever tax break you got, think of how that hurt you by reducing the money people had to spend on the Adult Internet. |

Joe..... why do you wait for a long weekend to post this nonsense? Anyone that knows anything knows that 12clicks has better things to do on a long weekend than slap the board mice around. Whatever, he may swing by, you never know. Just kind of funny that these threads calling out 12clucks always pop up on a weekend or holiday, as if the fucker posting it knows and does it because he's a fucking coward. More wine anyone? |

From correspondents in Washington April 10, 2004 SUPPORT for the Bush administration's handling of Iraq is eroding, with only 44 per cent of Americans approving of the situation, according to a CNN/Time poll. The poll also found President George W. Bush's own approval rating had sunk to a record low of 49 per cent since CNN/Time started polling in the earliest days of the Bush presidency in 2001. The survey found 44 per cent of those canvassed approved of Bush's handling of the situation in Iraq, where new unrest has caused fresh US casualties in the past week. That was down from 51 per cent approval in a poll held from March 26 to 28. Just over half the respondents, 51 per cent, disapproved of the president's management of Iraq, according to the new poll which was conducted on April 8. Overall, 47 per cent said they disapproved of the way Bush was handling his job as president. However, public perception of Bush as a strong fighter of terrorism remained robust. A majority of 55 per cent backed Bush in that regard against 39 per cent who disapproved. On the economy - which consistently ranks amongst the public's highest concerns - a minority of 41 per cent expressed satisfation with Bush, while 54 per cent disapproved of his economic management of the country. The telephone poll canvassed 1005 adults. The margin of error was three per cent. Agence France-Presse |

No... Bush is at 49% today.... that's pretty damn close to HALF isn't it? And isn't HALF of the people hate Bush and HALF love him what I said? I'm happy you think Hillary is a good choice... in fact I hope every Drmocrate in the country supports her in '08. I REALLY do! |

What I see of Kerry I like, what I saw of Gore I did not. Was thinking that in a country as powerful and big as America this is the best you have? And let's face it before 9/11 Bush was a nothing, he used it to his benefit. |
Quote:
For me the jury is still out on Kerry. Does he have the strength of character needed to be president? The moral resolve? In some forums he's looking good, but he is getting mixed reviews in others. It will be interesting to see how this all plays out as Election day approaches, that's for sure. I forsee it getting ugly on GFY. |
