<img src=http://www.gregmichie.com/large/4110Henderson.jpg>

$400K canadian. I have about $200k down for this idea, so the mortage is only a little over $1000/month.

Riverfront on the red river, 1.8 arce landscaped lot, 3 car garage, lots of old trees - just outside the city limits so property taxes arn't that bad. built in 1985. 3280 sq feet

debating it seriously now ...... i duno... seems nice

NaughtyJenn 03-20-2004 10:08 PM

MattO 03-20-2004 10:08 PM

Mr. Marks 03-20-2004 10:09 PM

Sleazy, Got tired of greasing the doorways so you can get in? Try buying a house with no walls.

I was just thinking the same, florida is fucking retarded, a small house on the water is like 2 million usd.

GTS Mark 03-20-2004 10:10 PM

Buy it!! And get my guest room ready!!!!!!

BigFrog 03-20-2004 10:10 PM

i need lots of land to feel comfortable.
1.8 acres just doesnt do it for me.

Firehorse 03-20-2004 10:10 PM

That looks like a bargain! :thumbsup

Sly_RJ 03-20-2004 10:11 PM

Beautiful man. Why not?

I'm planning on buying a house by the end of this year, probably going to move out of SoCal though. For $400k in San Diego I'll get a run of the mill 3 bedroom house. For $400k practically anywhere else I could get a very nice, spacious house with a nice lot, good location, pool, the whole works.

It's crazy.

TheDatingNetworkCameron 03-20-2004 10:11 PM

Looks Awsome! Buy it.

My thoughts would be do it, TGP game will be up in a couple years and you'll probably never have another chance, so do it now while you have the bankroll and credit. :2 cents:

tell me about it, I've got a fucking shack I'm paying $850 a month for... I've been searching for ages for something with a big yard and it's just about impossible, developers use up every single inch of land.

If I was to pay over 500K for a house, I wouldn't want to be able to reach out the window and touch my neighbor's house.

Elli 03-20-2004 10:13 PM

That looks sweet! Lots of snowmobiliing room :) And hey, lots of room for parties :thumbsup

Chris 03-20-2004 10:14 PM

Looks nice but do you REALLY need it ? that is a large investment for something that doesnt need upgraded

think of what else ya can do with the money :):)

webgurl 03-20-2004 10:14 PM

Nice down payment ! With 1000 /month for mortgage on a house thats pretty good , how long have you been eyeing this place for any others you have considered at the moment ?

it's either that house or a bunch of apartment blocks... I'm leaning towards the apt blocks actually

Are you going to name the apartments "Sleazy Arms"?

If you want it just as an investment, then probably the apt thing is the way to go. If you want it because you want it, the house looks really nice.

Sometimes I miss snow living in LA.

Looks nice man and only $400k?

I'm realizing how expensive real estate is here in california. That home would cost millions over here.

Sean 03-20-2004 10:54 PM

get the house, get the house, get the house!

even if i cant go there
