If you could visit one of these countries...
 

For 6 months to a year. An extended visit/vacation sort of like a get away. Which would you pick and MOST importantly- WHY?

Costa Rica - add it to that list. I`d be there for a number of reasons. Mostly just the different world, that I need, away from this insanity I live in.

These are moreso just countries I want to visit.
I know a lot of people here have the same taste as me when it comes to where to go... so I was looking for a few unofficial word of the best places to visit in my list ;)

come check out australia, we have a bit of everything. Plenty to do and see and the weather and girls are nice:thumbsup

From my point of view, there are so many places that are looking more attractive than France :winkwink:

I would go somewhere "different" or unusual from where you are from. Thus not Australia or Europe.

I'm not the type of person to like TOO much change. I mean hell I just started trying different types of food. By different I mean not ordering a hamburger at an expensive resturaunt.

I like our type of culture and differing from it TOO much would be too much for me.

I lived in Germany for two years and visited all over Europe... so my vote goes to Japan

I wouldn't go to Japan then. Very few people speak english in Japan.

I took japanese for 3 years in highscool so I have the foundation skills of speech, and I am still able to write hirigana and katakana.

It has the best climate, out of those, and The Great Coral Reef.

Australia has the most suitable environment, for me, compared to the others.

Australia is a hot topic.. cool. Easy to get into the country too.

I vote Japan. very ahead of the times. Unless you're already in the US, the rest is behind the times.... (which is cool n shit for history's sake). but im into robots and taxi's with automatic opening doors n shit.

I voted for Australia ... never been there & it's a huge country where you need a lot of time to see everything.

None of them, been to most and no desire to go to the others.

But if I had to choose I suppose it would be Japan and I had to think hard about that.

Russia seems cool. I don't know about being there long term, but it would be cool for a couple weeks or so. To live for 6 months to a year Australia or Germany seem good.

I'm from Australia so i chose Japan...

I'm thinking about doing that too, so I've picked Europe this time. Spain for the weather, Czech for the girls and UK for the language :glugglug

If you do Australia, do New Zealand as well. lot's to see and do, much smaller so it's easier to get around and very friendly people.

I'd also think about Brazil and the carribean.

Russia of course, hot girls, cheap place, a lot of biz opportunities.

I chose Germany. I spend the summer in New Zealand and then move to europe for their summer.

Berlin is pretty cheap compared to the rest of europe and there's a lot happening. It's also pretty central so makes travelling around the rest of Europe easy.

6months is long period....i guess i would pick Australia due to warm weather.

Since you know japanese it would be easier for you than most of us.

I'd go for the food, the architecture and the history. I've always wanted to see the coliseum and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel.
