Have you ever seen the owner of MTV?

Never in a million years would you think this billionaire would own something as wild and on the edge as MTV.

When Viacom originally bought MTV, it wasn't as "on the edge" as it is today. They bought it back when they played music videos 24hrs a day with brief interuption for stupid VJ antics. Back then there was no Real World, Beavis and Butthead or Jackass.

Yep, just like Murdoch. :1orglaugh

One of the main reasons people invest in the media is to get across their point of view, I find it highly highly unlikely that this is not the case with MTV.

BRISK 02-02-2004 03:09 AM

This guy is worth $7.2 Billion and he owns the Simpsons

he owns all of us.

He controls so many newspapers, book publishers, and tv networks that barely anyone gets news or information that hasn't been filtered through his politics first.

Yeh, that's the bitch of life. You become a billionaire and then drop deap.

That's why its great to achieve success at a young age like so many here are doing.

yeah,no shit. I bet they haven't thought of it though.....

A long relative had an uncle that was Rockefeller's personal butler. One day he asked him what Onasis is doing cause he haven't heard anything about him for some time. The butler replied him that Onasis had died. Rockefeller, turned surprised and said: "Onasis is dead? How come? Onasis was rich man"
