What's the best show on TV right now?

I used to think it was The Simpsons, but they've been slipping a little this season.

I'm gonna say The Sopranos.

buddyjuf 01-22-2004 12:51 PM

The Apprentice :thumbsup

Rictor 01-22-2004 12:52 PM

Stargate SG1 is up there too. Those 3 shows are pretty much the only ones I watch anymore.

I'll probably watch the Battlestar Galactica tv show they are coming out with though since the mini-series was decent. Can't get enough good sci-fi on tv.

Ross 01-22-2004 12:53 PM

Eastenders. UK people will know what I am talking about :)

Nothing else can really make me set a time to sit down and watch it anymore.

Titty Fucker 01-22-2004 01:05 PM

It's Barbarians week on the History Channel. The Huns, Goths, Mongols, Vikings... cool shit.

mech 01-22-2004 01:06 PM

Simpson has been unwatchable crap for the last 3 seasons.

I say Curb Your Enthusiasm, Smallville and 24.

MetaMan 01-22-2004 01:06 PM

that new show Ridez, that was a wild ass show and nice ass cars.

that Enzo was pimppppppppin.

or American Choppers is a sweet show, but overall i hate TV barely ever watch it.

RATBOY 01-22-2004 01:09 PM

American Chopper on the Discovery Channel

TheEnforcer 01-22-2004 01:10 PM

Oh man.. there is a bunch of good stuff.

Star Trek: Enterprise
Stargate SG-1
JAG
Navy NCIS
Joan of Arcadia

are the shows I make sure not to miss! :thumbsup

If you want to watch the best show ever on tv then I suggest you buy all 7 seasons of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine on DVD! :thumbsup

axelcat 01-22-2004 01:11 PM

The aprentice by far

HeadPimp 01-22-2004 01:11 PM

SG-1 is still strong.. and I try and catch the new South Park episodes. Cartoon Network used to be great for late night, but they sorely need some new shows.

TLC/History channel specials are usually good, but they tend to repeat the same stuff over and over...

Network TV blows nasty ass turds...

Peaches 01-22-2004 01:13 PM

West Wing
Law and Orders
CSI's
Gilmore Girls (really - it's a funny as heck show!)

Edited to add:
ER

sickkittens 01-22-2004 01:19 PM

Scrubs, ER, the Apprentice, Law and Order, American Chopper, the OC (starting to get bored of that though)

TurboTrucker 01-22-2004 02:08 PM

Alias.

imJason 01-22-2004 02:12 PM

I've seen all the older Star Trek shows in syndication, including all the seasons of DS9. I love the Ferengi.

As for Enterprise, I watched the first few and then ended up missing them because the network and time slot suck. I'll pick up the box sets when they come out and watch them that way. It's an interesting concept, but I wish they'd do another Enterprise show that takes place a generation after Picard's Enterprise.

New series/show coming out soon on Showtime called "The L Word"

Saw the previews for it last night and sounds/looks pretty hot !

Course, that could just be because I saw lots of hot girls kissing

Oh yah, can't believe I forgot South Park. Probably because they have new episodes about once every 6 months.

I'm glad to see so many Stargate SG1 fans. It's my favorite show.

Also I love Las Vegas on Monday nights.

Elli 01-22-2004 02:48 PM

I still love MASH. We bought the Southpark DVD's, so we're watching all of those, in between the Transformers DVDs.

Oh, and Matlock is on twice a night now. Once on CMT and later on WGN. hehehh

I really liked Nip/Tuck but I missed too many episodes to keep up.

mpulse 01-22-2004 02:48 PM

It's gotta be:

Chappelle show
Stargate SG1
South Park
The Apprentice
and just about anything on the History Channel

Hannity and Colmes is pretty good. Brit Hume is one of my favorites too, but I am at work when he comes on, so I can't watch it anymore. :(

As far as simple minded shows, I love The Apprentice, South Park and I have really gotten into King of Queens lately. I never watched that show until a few weeks ago. Pretty funny. Oh and Cops.

I usually watch Discovery, The History Channel and A&E. Last night they had a pretty cool show on about Saddam Hussein and Osama Bin Laden. But if there is nothing good on those channels, or they are playing reruns on those channels, I watch the simple minded shows. :)

Hell yah! Best show on TV hands down

And I am a big fan of South Park and Family Guy (FG still has reruns)

My fave events are the logs, the sticky wall, and the pond with the fake rocks.
