I'm looking for brains, not exploits children find.

I agree. hijacking someone's browser only makes things tougher on us honest advertisers.

<IMX> 01-15-2004 10:00 PM

lol.

sumphatpimp 01-15-2004 10:05 PM

if you are really serious about learning about exploits the first thing you have to do is turn off your firewall and virus software.
that stuff only hampers the learning process.

I don't.

you've been here long enough to know I'm all about business.

AlienQ - BANNED FOR LIFE 01-15-2004 10:25 PM

Then it is bad business you have in mind.

See...

Self installing tool bars, Movie downloads with tracking software inside and programs like the Gator of the past...
Highly exploitive software gone commercial in the name of "Business".

How about programs that re-write cookies?
Ever think that Sponsors that depend on Cookies for there tracking could be altered under some circumstances so that basically webmaster "X" sends traffic but there is a program on clients machine that changes the affiliate ID to yours?
It could be done....

All bad business.

I know it can be done.
I'm not interested.
Trying to guess what a visionary like myself is up to (and guessing the worst) will only make you look silly.

Active X -- tons of traffic from this source alredy.

Too bad it might be illegal soon

Mr. Marks 04-29-2004 08:17 PM

Considering how much money 12clicks claims to have, you'd think he would have a stable of programmers cranking this out.

LOL:1orglaugh

illeagel doesn't bother 12clicks, he was part inventor of the word, when him and Gore invented the intranet ....

49thParallel 04-29-2004 08:50 PM

I have a mental picture of Ron (12 Clicks) in my head that I just can't shake. ...remember the little mouse in the cartoon that was always trying to take over the world? Yep, that's the picture.

VideoVoyeur 04-29-2004 09:10 PM

Heh I can do it 8)

Are we talking silent dialer installs that die gracefully or silent active x installs that the user never knows about...
