This story is about a dude who bought a replica of the 'Statue Of David' and put it in his yard.

The local community is somewhat upset because it's a 'nude' and 'near' a school.

WHAT THE FUCK???

It's the most famous statue in human history and some dipshits are 'offended' at the nudity? Yet they can go into any encyclopeadia or dictionary and see the same statue smothered in accolades???

This is why the older I get the more I agree with 'Dr. Smith' from the old 'Lost In Space' tv show regarding fine tastes and the direction of humanity's aesthetics.

Children should be shielded from naked human bodies at all costs.

Nudity is disgusting. If god wanted us naked we'd be born without clothes and no ability to buy clothes.

hard call...nudity in front of a school is not a light subject...i think they dont start teaching sex ed..or showing the naked book pics until a certain age.

first of all, what do christians have to do with this article??? nowhere in this article does it say that christians had anything to do with this complaint....it says the PARENTS of the neighbouring school!!!! That was a violation of separation of church and state.

I don't know about David in my neighbour's front yard. Seems kinda tacky, if you ask me. I can just imagine that white plaster monstrosity now...

But who am I to complain? I have a 8 foor inflatable penguin in my front yard every Christmas :)

Personally speaking, if I were walking around with my 3 year old daughter, I'd be slightly more upset by the statue with cock and balls, than the monument with some words to live by on it.

Oh, and as a personal observation... you can't argue for free speech, and against speech, religious or otherwise, at the same time, it's a glaring contradiction.
