Is America the Dumbest Nation?
 

Serious question. I have been reading numerous facts that point to the likelihood that unfortunately they are the dumbest nation.

If America are not the dumbest nation, who are the dumbest.

For the purpose of clarity, dumb means not knowing facts that most people in the western world over the age of 16 would know the answer to.

I can guess which video is going to be posted in this thread at some point!

We are definitely the most "Dumbed Down" nation.

The Founding Fathers were men of Science. Jefferson spoke several different languages...

Compare that to today where we have religious nutcases running the country and children are NOT taught other languages (unless they take them as "electives" in highschool). Matter of fact there are all kinds of "English Only" legislative laws trying to be passed while we busily "close the borders".

We are told by the media and our education system that we are "Number One" at almost everything (lies).

It's a pretty sad state of affairs.

What I find funny (and by funny, read "offensive") is when websites that offer multiple languages show English with the American flag because they think Americans are too thick to recognise the Union Jack.

Op is talking about average intelligence, not saying that there are no super smart people in USA.

How is that relevant? If something that would say the opposite - people not from USA know foreign languages that allows them to visit English speaking forum boards.

That was over 50 years ago when we didn't have people in congress whom think it's a great idea to cut education in every budget and other nimrods that try to force creationism in our schools. They are doing everything possible to dumb this country down..

I think ever since the Department of Education took over, things got bad. I know my daughter did a lot on her own, she had too.
Schools getting dragged down by students that can't speak English and have to hire bilingual teachers for children of illegal aliens is a big problem.
My sister had her kids in school in California, then she moved to Pennsylvania and they found a learning problem with my nephew. Both her kids did so much better in that state and it's the Dept of Education that's suppose to make that doesn't happen, in stead they are dealing way to much with political correctness and students that can disrupt the class and not catch hell for it.

Yes, unfortunately the Average american is being dumbed down systematically. So they may just be the dumbest.
But, the powerful and manipulative people who actually run the country from behind the curtain are absolutely brilliant. They must be in order to orchestrate the takeover of the U.S. in the way that they have. They are getting the majority of people to fight amongst each other and turn a blind eye to what is really happening to them.

FYI:
They no longer teach cursive handwriting in public schools in Florida. They are dumbing down the herd for sure.

America doesn't have a stranglehold/monopoly on poor politicians, ineffective government, organized religion, etc, et al.

I would think that someone who obviously considers themself above average would realize that. Or are you figuring you're average/below average?

Americans have generally good life and you can't provide that with been dumb... So at least 100 other countries worldwide are dumber :)
