What to watch next
 

Over the last 6 months or so I have binge watched a few shows people tell me about like Homeland, Breaking Bad, House of Cards etc.

I am looking for something new to watch. I don't do zombie's and shit like that. What do you recommend?

I heard this started off slow but is picking up steam...

yeah, these period dramas like to wind up eh. the good part, is the time spent dev'ing the charaacters is well spent.

Gonna check this one out once the season ends. Dont want to get into it and have to wait. Hence my binge watching.

I think Game of Thrones is going to be next. Everyone is telling me about this one. I have already watched all of The Wire when it was originally one and I watched all of homeland a few months ago.

If you haven't seen it The Sopranos is amazing. Also, if you like Sci Fi the new Battlestar Galactica is great.

Recently I have been watching Alias which is pretty cool (and Jennifer Garner is smoking hot in it).

I have seen The Sopranos. I dont I would like BSG. I will check out Alias.

"The Bible" is getting rave reviews.

it sucks. All the crazy religious people that will watch anything about the bible no matter how bad it is are pushing it up.

Vikings is slightly better but not by much.

Agreed! I just started watching this show and it rocks. It's probably stage, scripted, or reenacted but it's entertaining for sure. Love it!

I haven't seen that, but I have seen a few episodes of Restaurant: Impossible which I think is a similar style of show.

One episode I saw recently was about two brothers that owned an Italian place and for years it did really well, but now it was dated, the food sucked and they were $500K in debt and losing $20K a month. One of the guys brought his son in who went to school for restaurant management and had worked for some big places to help them fix things then promptly refused to listen to him to they kept bleeding money.

Another thing that struck me is that he said they had about 8 more months left and they would be out of money and have to close down. They just weren't going to walk away until everything they had was gone and their family was torn apart.
