All of your iPhones sucks huge fucking donkey balls

We have four phones in our family, three androids and one iPhone. Guess how many iPhones we've broken the past year? Four.

Guess how many Androids we've broken in the past four years? Zero.

We even have a special case to protect the iPhone, an Otter Box. Fuck this. I will never buy an iPhone again.

Sly 10-31-2012 03:12 PM

Even Apple isn't immune to user error.

L-Pink 10-31-2012 03:12 PM

No one treats a cell phone as rough as I do. Rattling around inside a Harley saddle bag, dropping, forgetting it's in a back pocket and sitting down, getting it sprayed with yard sprinklers, having the overheat warning kick in when leaving it in the sun, etc. Go apple!

Markul 10-31-2012 03:15 PM

My stepdaughter has broken 3 iPhones... she turns 12 next week. Guess what her wish list says:

iPhone 5
iPad 3
Macbook
Trip to Hollywood

WTF

Kelli58 10-31-2012 03:19 PM

Wow I've never broken a single phone in my entire life and I let me 3 year old niece play with it all the time. WTH are oyu guys doing with your phones? LOL

I had an iPhone 4 since launch, 2 years in I replaced the battery. When I got my new iPhone 5 from work I sold the 4 on Ebay for $400. It was in perfect shape.

Apparently I am the most careful person on the planet?

A phone can't break if it never gets used, right?

I don't have a bumper on mine and yet it's fallen down a flight of stairs with a minor indent in one corner and passed an entire day in a cooloer bag with a bottle of water that leaked its 2 litres inside the bag... both water sensors are red, yet I followed the trick to not try to boot it and put it in a rice bag for 2 weeks and have never had a problem.

It's as rough as I've ever treated a phone, but to me my iphone passes my rugged test. :thumbsup

Rochard 10-31-2012 03:49 PM

You fuckers are on crack. My local mall has special booths that sell special "iphone armor" and also a booth to fix cracked screens on iPhones.

borked 10-31-2012 03:51 PM

if that's that all-in-one spray on thing armour, stay the fuck away from that....
don't believe everything that is sold to you.
just sayin.

HushMoney 10-31-2012 03:56 PM

Quit being such a uncoordinated ass hat with your phone. I've broken 1 phone in 10 years. My Iphone works just fine cuz i'm not a complete idiot and keep breaking it. What kind of simple minded tool blames being a clutz on a phone? Do you drop a drinking glass once a month and blame it on the drinking glass? Nevermind, you probably do.

shake 10-31-2012 04:00 PM

They'll all break if you drop them enough

ColBigBalls 10-31-2012 04:30 PM

Go on... I'm intrigued.

SomeCreep 10-31-2012 05:24 PM

Iphones are the strongest most durable phones built in the industry.

I can finally agree with you on something. iPhones are flimsy.

Mr Pheer 10-31-2012 05:38 PM

I've thrown my iphones into my Harley sidebags, in glove compartments while offroading, it gets mounted to my handlebars regularly when I'm riding my bicycle, its gone in an underwater housing and went scuba diving with me, I've dropped it a few times.

All I have is regular case for it... from Rokform.com because of the cool mounting options. Other iphones, I've just had the regular bumper-type cases that you can get for them. I did have an otter case for a while but it was too damn big.

I've had every iPhone from the 1st one thru the 4s, and never broke one... never cracked a screen, never dropped one in a toilet or swimming pool.

Before I had an iPhone, I had a Motorola Razor and a Kyociera-something, and never had cases for those and never broke those either.

I think maybe you're doing something wrong.

Maybe that's because there are more iPhones than any other phone. Supply and demand tells us that lots of product sold = lots of services for that product. When you have more than 85 million iPhones in existence, of course such booths will exist. This isn't rocket science.

Rochard, seriously!!! What is your problem against apple? Yes there prices are toward extortion but they are quality products.

Get a quality case to protect the product. The iPhone 3GS here is still running great and I've had it since it came out summer '09.

But to each his own.

That girl needs a reality check.. If my 12 yo asked for all that I'd give him nothing.

sojproductions 11-01-2012 04:45 AM

My 3GS was repaired 3 times after the 1 year warranty, cost around $200 in repairs, iphone 4 broke 3 times, twice inside warranty once out, cost $120... I now have a samsung S3, so far so good.

Even with protection they still break, my screen came away, the microphone stopped working, the battery lasted only a few months etc etc, we've had 5 models in my home and all have been repaired at some point due to faulty inners.

Si 11-01-2012 04:55 AM

Samsung Rugby might be better suited :)

DWB 11-01-2012 05:11 AM

Everyone I know who owns an iphone has broken one.

The new ones don't. I've seen numerous drop tests between iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3. The plastic S3 shattered and broke more often than the iPhone.

The old ones might have...but the new ones are solid. Hardware wise Apples phone can't be beat. Software is where Apple sucks compared to android. IOS fucking blows.

UniqueD 11-01-2012 05:38 AM

Ive had every iPhone with the exception of the 3gs, guess how many have broken on their own? 0. Treat your phone like shit, its gonna break.

2intense 11-01-2012 05:44 AM

seeandsee 11-01-2012 07:09 AM
