How did you come up with your nick?

I am 7'7 and weighed 181 lbs when I created this nick in 2004.

My first name is manute and my last name is bol.

Before GFY, I typically used one of two other nicks for all of my online stuff.

While I have been online since the beginning (bbs days), and in this industry since 1997, I did not really get involved on the industry boards until 2003. I simply lurked until around 2005 when I became more active, and then picked this handle based on the niche, and branding. No other reason.

I used the name "Nickname" before but It got confusing so I switched to Nicky, don't know why I use either of em since my real name is Daniel lol. It's been too long to change now though.

Charly was my first Nick that least a year. It was a stage name I had used in movies as an actor.

Because I am gfy lover and this type of stuff is fun and interests me. :thumbsup

While working for Coca Cola I developed a device that load tested vending machine circuit boards, I called it Vendzilla

When I created my first aol account back in the days of dial up, I had problems finding a good screen name. I ended up with ilibarcodesili, aol used sans serif fonts and it looked like lllBARCODESlll. This sounds ridiculous now but back then I used to customize my aol profile, make it animate etc using aols butchered version of html. Everyone who did it had a cool, hackerish sounding name and that was mine. =D

I widdled it down to barcodes over time, I guess out of laziness? lol

When I created my company I tried to think of something that was easy to remember and would stick in your head. Sarah Designs sounded silly. Z is a very unique letter that does not have that many common names starting with it that I could think of. Zoo something was what I was trying to use. I was working on cam and running a cam studio and had a model named Zuzana and fell in love with the name cause it had 2 z's in it.

Easy. TBS stands for The Barcelona Summit and Andreas is my first name.

As you will all realize now: My nick is outdated, as The Barcelona Summit became The European Summit ... so my nick should read TES_Andreas now :)

My name is Richard, and I changed the "i" in Richard to "o" and came up with "Rochard", pronounced ROCKhard. It's because I'm "always hard at work", meaning I have a stiffy or I'm a hard worker - but usually both.

I've used sarettah since around 94 or 95. I needed a unique username for swbell I think it was and I had the word hatteras written on a nearby piece of paper so I typed it in backwards and have been using it since.

Little did I know that it is apparently a girls name in italian.

I built a site for a Playboy model back in 97, a bunch of us were in Vegas and she kept telling everyone what a wizard I was at building websites. We went to the Excalibur to shoot craps and there's a little wizard on the $100 chips named Wizzo, so she started calling me Wizzo along with everyone else and nicname just stuck. :pimp

I got the spaz nick because I ask a LOT of questions. sometimes one answer will lead to multiple questions and I tend to get excited about good things and upset about bad things... sometimes out of proportion. The labz was added when I started a video editing/trans-coding company years and years ago (now defunct). And I liked the sound of spazlabz

since i owned centerfolds.com and gatefold.com, it was either Ron (Cybererotica) or RB (Maxcash) started calling me MikeFold to distinguish me from the other peeps named Mike.

Funny, I still get invoices to Mike Fold as though thats my real last name.

I actually had two nicks registered here,but forgot pass,which is why i have different nickname on several boards.I used this nick in games,and i think it came from words of dark templars in starcraft where they were saying something like "for tel kelar"so i came with klen telar and adjusted it to klentelaris.

Got into an argument with a dude on an MSN chatboard way back when, and said, "I will amputate your fuckin' head dude..." and began thinking, that would grab attention when I needed it and it works well shortened (Amp).... thus the name.

It's not a very interesting story and doesn't have any deep esoteric meaning, but it's the truth.
