Now, here is the SEO strategy:
You have to trade links (hard links) with sites that have a high PR. PR3+ on google. Then, after a few weeks your site will get a high PR as well. A high PR will help you come up climb up higher in the search engine listings. Optimize your site with the keywords that you want to get traffic from. Let's say you're trying to get traffic from google. Take a look what kind of sites come up in the search engine results when you search for your keyword. These sites will be your competition. You are gonna have to make a site that is more optimized to beat those sites in the search engine rankings. Try to get a domain name that's as old as possible, if you can. If your domain name is 3+ or 5+ years old, google will place you higher in the search results. Make site maps, a bunch of interconnected links. Most importantly - use the right keywords on your site and get a bunch of hard links back to your sites from other relevant sites. Keyword density - do not go over 20%. This means do not fill up your texts with too much of it being keywords - or google will penalize you. Now, google may penalise you for a lot of things - they change their rules every week, so it's hard to know what they are doing. What the fuck google is doing is top secret, anyway. Now, for sure google will put you on a black list of bad sites if you have some viruses or trojans on your site. Your site might get hacked by someone else, and they will put something bad on it, so be careful. Get a hard link from a PR6 or PR7 site or something - this will be the most effective thing. Also, if you get back hardlinks from sites that have a smaller amount of total link on their sites, that will be more effective. For example, some site has 10 links on it and one of the links is to you - that is very good. problem is u have to make sure all those linked pages have IPs on different C-classes or you'll get discounted as owning them all. even more points off if they are on the same IP/server.
other problem - if none of your linking pages have page rank then you just wasted a weekend sitting in your mom's basement building pages. you can't build page rank without help/links from higher PR sites.
