Hello
For the WL, get rid of every single piece of webcams.com branding..... there should be no branding at all on pics, sign up letters, promos etc etc. Thansk |

Still its not working: I set type to CNAME I set host to bangbang (I could not add mydomain.com here, so I set it to bangbang) I set address to webcams.com I then went to my hosting account and setup: bangbang CNAME mydomain.com. No whitelabel is setup...... any ideas? |

Now let's wait a little bit until the domain names will propagate on the rest of the servers. |
That is the best whitelabel I´ve seen for camsite so far. Very nice.
Makes me want to move everything away from Streamray.. Only thing missing out is a hardlink to the affiliateprogram with my ref code in it so I can refer webmasters directly from the whitelabel. |

Hi, not sure if I hooked this up right...
http://www.theappletwinswebcamgirls.com is hooked up w/ CNAME point to: webcams.com Not sure if this is a problem, BUT, when I click on that link, I do not get a raw hit in my stats. When I click on my whitelabel link code: http://www.webcams.com/link.php?rese...in=&freechat=Y I get a raw hit count. I don't like using the link code, because we don't get our name in the address bar. Did I hook it up right? Is it a mute point, because as long as our logo is in the window, we'll get credit ? I'd like to see the raw hit count for our domain name, what did I do wrong? Help me Obi Wan Kenobi! Thanks! :) Alpha Sky |
In my experience with parking programs, one usually needs to specify the subdomain in the CNAME or it won't display nor track. So it's a good thing you caught that or you'd likely be losing a lot of sales.
Perhaps adding your affiliate name in front of webcams.com would do the trick. Ie. alphaskycams.webcams.com - which kinda works, but displays a warning gateway page, so something is still amiss. Ron |

Thanks, :thumbsup L This is the address, and below, the correct affiliate code link I've been using. http://www.theappletwinswebcamgirls.com http://www.webcams.com/link.php?rese...Y&css_random=1 |
Pretty slick, I'm tempted to build a couple :)
Can you specify which niches show up on the main page? |

PS. Needs more MILFs :) |
Disregard my previous reply. While what I wrote is true for some parking programs, it's not true for all - Parked.com for example doesn't require the domain in the CNAME.
More to the point, don't add the affiliate name to the Webcams CNAME ... instead use www.webcams.com ... I notice you're using webcams.com without the www - that may not the same, so be add the www. part to the CNAME and see if that helps with tracking. Be sure you've entered your "host" name (website domain; without the www part, but not sure which is preferred) in the white label control panel. It's possible there's a bug in which www. prefixed (or vice-versa) host names are being treated as separate. Hopefully someone from Webcams can chime in and explain the preferred format for entering the host name(s) and how www and non-www host names are treated ... ideally as being the same, since most often traffic will come in on both ... ie. example.com and www.example.com Ron |
I hope they get back and straighten us out. I've always used the www.webcams.com as the CNAME, and I've also switched it over to just using A record.
Both won't track w/white label. http://theappletwinswebcamgirls.com AND http://www.theappletwinswebcamgirls.com I have both listed in the DNS w/A record going to www.webcams.com We just put up our pages/links and using the affiliate code that tracks fine, but looks nasty in the address bar. Help WebCams! I love the site and the look & the models are hot! Alpha Sky |
