Who are the most Successful Webmasters on GFY?

I think a lot of successful webmasters eventually start their own programs :winkwink:

:2 cents: Take a guy like xxxJay he was a successfull affiliate some years ago, now he is a sucessfull program owner. Where is the line drawn?

My guess is the most successful affiliates are not all that active on the boards.

I wonder how many affiliates are doing $500k+ per year from adult now... compared, to say 5 years ago..

Define successful. Is it money? And compared to what? In some countries, the same amount of money would be much more worth than other countries :)

Or some are focusing more on PR and google hits, than making the sales... Others might be successful by recruiting other affiliates to make money for them... and so on :)

I hardly doubt you will get the answer, because most are lying about their epenis :)

Right now the guy from XNXX, Nophest has the most adult traffic in the world currently imho.

But he doesn't post much here

I don't define success by anyone elses standards except my own.

That figure is probably lower but I do know some guy's that do 100+ sales per day now just like they did 5 years ago as affiliates. I am not gonna name them though LOL

Freeones has insanely good traffic and has to be a top affiliate at any program he joins.

I'd define success as anyone who achieves (or exceeds) the goals they set out to reach.

10 years after launching Kastle Archives we're still in the game and turning a consistent annual profit. :thumbsup

I made 28K in one month with google 2 years ago. Pushed phone sex in 92 in aol chats.

There is a lot of truth in this. I can name dozens of great affiliates who opened up their own program.

However, owning a program is a lot of work.

You'd be surprised how many green nicks on this board are highly successful webmasters. :2 cents:

Exactly... Define successful. Some say $10k/mo GROSS is Successful, some say that's chump change, some also say that's way more then needed.

I think I'm somewhat successful, why? Because I can afford to feed myself, my family, and keep a roof over our heads...

Why in only one month, did you make close to that every month for 2 years?

I made more after that. That was my kick start in mainstream.

I would never want to own a program no matter how large of an affiliate I become.

It's much less stress to let someone else worry about micro-managing, and just be partners. Even if you do have to cough up a larger piece of the pie.

Traffic remains king.

Not me... I'm so broke that I cant even afford cat food.
