Who are the most Successful Webmasters on GFY?

Not program owners, affiliates?
Do we have a list of the top 10?

fuzebox 05-01-2009 11:41 PM

I think a lot of successful webmasters eventually start their own programs :winkwink:

:2 cents: Take a guy like xxxJay he was a successfull affiliate some years ago, now he is a sucessfull program owner. Where is the line drawn?

Barefootsies 05-01-2009 11:46 PM

My guess is the most successful affiliates are not all that active on the boards.

Precisely.

Yngwie 05-02-2009 12:00 AM

it certainly ins't me that's for sure.

MoreMagic 05-02-2009 12:07 AM

You will never know.

CyberHustler 05-02-2009 12:34 AM

It ain't me, that's for sure. I shoulda took this a little more serious when I first started dabbing around in this biz as a youngster in 2000... but I wrongly felt other things would make me more money. Now it's kinda late to start out as an uneducated noob in this shit but I'm still tryin'. It still beats working for somebody else, as I have a big problem with people telling me what to do for a measly 8 bucks an hour.

Jack Sparrow 05-02-2009 12:47 AM

Define succesfull.
And even then i bet nobody who IS succesfull will come in to brag about it, people who arent succesfull are the ones who openly brag about it 98% :)

That means that the green or red nicks are not that good... :1orglaugh

The Adult Broker 05-02-2009 02:28 AM

ah I was going to say you until you said not program owners. LOL.

But I may know one or two ;)

hope all is great.

polish_aristocrat 05-02-2009 02:39 AM

I wonder how many affiliates are doing $500k+ per year from adult now... compared, to say 5 years ago..

Dirty Dane 05-02-2009 02:58 AM

Define successful. Is it money? And compared to what? In some countries, the same amount of money would be much more worth than other countries :)

Or some are focusing more on PR and google hits, than making the sales... Others might be successful by recruiting other affiliates to make money for them... and so on :)

I hardly doubt you will get the answer, because most are lying about their epenis :)

Scott McD 05-02-2009 03:00 AM

Ron2k1 05-02-2009 05:05 AM

Right now the guy from XNXX, Nophest has the most adult traffic in the world currently imho.

But he doesn't post much here

Another guy named Bike is als very succesful with his adultwebmasternet.com network

Iron Fist 05-02-2009 05:34 AM

I don't define success by anyone elses standards except my own.

That figure is probably lower but I do know some guy's that do 100+ sales per day now just like they did 5 years ago as affiliates. I am not gonna name them though LOL

good call

slapass 05-02-2009 06:31 AM

Freeones has insanely good traffic and has to be a top affiliate at any program he joins.

StuartD 05-02-2009 06:31 AM

Our top affiliates have never posted on GFY. :2 cents:

SilentKnight 05-02-2009 06:43 AM

I'd define success as anyone who achieves (or exceeds) the goals they set out to reach.

10 years after launching Kastle Archives we're still in the game and turning a consistent annual profit. :thumbsup

Kidding right? These guys aren't in the top 5....

Semi-Retired-Dave 05-02-2009 09:25 PM

Legendary Samir - BANNED FOR LIFE 05-02-2009 09:31 PM

There is a lot of truth in this. I can name dozens of great affiliates who opened up their own program.

However, owning a program is a lot of work.

You'd be surprised how many green nicks on this board are highly successful webmasters. :2 cents:

Exactly... Define successful. Some say $10k/mo GROSS is Successful, some say that's chump change, some also say that's way more then needed.

I think I'm somewhat successful, why? Because I can afford to feed myself, my family, and keep a roof over our heads...

Why in only one month, did you make close to that every month for 2 years?

I made more after that. That was my kick start in mainstream.

Exactly,

I would never want to own a program no matter how large of an affiliate I become.

It's much less stress to let someone else worry about micro-managing, and just be partners. Even if you do have to cough up a larger piece of the pie.

Traffic remains king.

Mr Pheer 05-02-2009 10:50 PM

Not me... I'm so broke that I cant even afford cat food.
