I guess I'll be losing my AK47 & my AR15. I will probably get to keep the mossberg 12 (unless they pass legislation on the barrel length)

which leaves me with my pistols, all of which are semi auto, except 1

so for voting Obama into office, i leave myself with my .38 revolver & cheap health insurance

What state do you live in and what size clips do you have for the two rifles? The reason I ask is because many states...if not most...already have laws against owning "assault rifles" if they do not meet certain criteria...and clip size is one of the criteria.

I've got a beta-c mag...which is a 100rd drum for the AR15.

Also have an 80rd drum for the AK.

And several 30rd mags.....

All legally purchased.

There are no laws on magazine sizes in my state. Probably because the manufacturers have some of their plants here.

Owning assault weapons is not a civil right, people worried about losing their "right to bear arms" need to take a look at what kind of arms were available when that was written. It sure wasn't referring to automatic weapons.

I think he's referring to the assault weapons ban that expired, and Bush neglected to renew. Where do you draw the line? You let people have assault weapons, why not let them keep bombs and rocket launchers too?

Did he say he needs them? I have several "assault" rifles...and a big screen TV...and it is not because I need them.

Yeah, I am pretty sure that in the late 1700"s they were not imagining that AR's and AK's would one day become available. But I can assure you they would own them if they were.
