SEARCH FORUM FEATURE - Should it be Brought Back or Dropped? VOTE!
 

OK Guys, Do you think the search function for this forum should be brought back or completely dropped?

I liked it and the forum loaded fast enough for me.........what dyall think?

dropped it was very slow, you can search the whole site thru google.

brought back for people with 1000+ posts ;)

I would like it back... Already miss it and already seeing repeat threads from people that might not be there if they could search..

Drop it. The forum is so much more faster without it.

Honestly its a cool feature that always helped me find subscribed threads when they werent on the front page...

Can someone consider re enabeling the feature??...

Otherwise we will all have to search thru every single page till we find what we want manually

ya well, there's always optical (regarding mouse :winkwink: ) but however, most members will not search without it. so GFY will now experience lots of duped / unnecessary threads ( I mean more than usual)

search is needed, otherwise scammers can act in full force here...

If it can be brought back without serious performance issues, fine, but I'd rather have a fast board without search than a 56k deja vu with search.

Bring it back. With all the $ GFY makes for advertisement you would think they could afford a faster server and faster board software.

Yeah!! a forum without a search funct. is like Google without a Search Bar..........

For now type this in google "searchwords site:www.gfy.com" Not perfect but it works fairly well.

Unless you only use GFY for shits and giggles, a fast board doesn't mean shit without the knowledge you can dig up by using the search. A slow board is a lesser waste of time than having to sift through all the fucking crap posted on it to find bits of pieces of useful info.

OHHH now I understand the reason why the search funct. is gone!.....Nice thinking DamageX! :thumbsup ......... I was thinking of may reasons why it would be gone but if you think hard.......you'll find the logic (NO, it is not because of speed issues!)
