Back in the day, I worked at an ISP and found that network solutions owned fuck.com and wouldn't sell it to anyone because it was deemed "offensive".
this was only in the year 2000 mind you....
I argued with a guy on the phone for a while, and almost got him to sell it to me, but then he noticed that it was blocked and he couldn't.

I asked him about some others, and he said he could let me register "Ifuckedyourdeadgrandmother.com" and "shitfuckcockdamn.com" but he couldn't register "fuck.com" because it was deemed offensive. I didn't register those names, but it was more to prove a point.

A few years later, someone actually managed to buy it. but I was THIS close. would have been nice..... True Story.

Well, I wasn't able to reach them then..and I doubt I will be able to reach them now..

actually their lack of replies to my email would indicate they aren't interested in selling anyway.

Then again, there's always a few percent chance that they missed the emails or whatever so its a natural business decision for me to always try all I can do to buy a domain that I truly want for a good price.

And yes, I'd prefer buying it by myself rather than 'referring' to you although i do have some money / banking problems with larger purchases
