Has anyone here had any experience with Teleteria? I've got a client who hired me to do some modifications to a site they built for him and I've found some rather disturbing things and I'm hoping it's an isolated case. I'd love to hear from anyone who has had work done by them so I can find out what the deal is.

I have alot to say and will post our story about Teleteria and it is not good,although what is good is that there are places that this we can expose people who are ruining the industry by dishonest, deceitful illusions.

Can you tell us what you found, illegal content such as underaged or stolen content, we need all we can get to fight this company and jay servidio, as they have taken alot of us down the path of doom. personallt for us its $6400.00 with a $2900.00 balance for a 3 custom trash sites with 5 year old content that was sold at discount and cut rate bargan basement video's.
any help or info you can give will be greatly appreciated.

Jay Servidio is one of the best con artists I've ever come accross.

On 8-27-03 we ordered 3 sites formTeleteria gave a $2000.00 deposit under the agreement we would have 90 days to pay them off, with the promise of all sites up and running in 7-10 days. This didnt happen! fat carbo lie!

On 9/10/03 Jay calls and wants another $2400.00 for search engine submissions and quartely web hosting for three sites.
(what happened to 90 day net).Still no web sites!!! We paid him!

On 10/14/03 jay calls and wants a $2000.00 payment made by check in his name Jay Servidio towards sites, I bet IRS will love this.

We viewed home pgs and tour pgs only and approved them. Still no content. (what happened to 7-10-days) fat carbo lie!
I told Jay that we could not view content and video's, he ref. us to carol.

10/28/03 jay tells carol by email to get mikes entry codes working for sites.

We refused content and video's, he said we approved the sites and that was that and thats a lie.He then told me that he did not bother with new content as its changeing all the time and it is usually the same, but for 3k-4k we could have top of the line.(what happened to Teleteria uses the best content and video that is unmatched by other companies)

Now jay wants final pmt of $2900.00 for sites. All we wanted was professional sites and instead we got a sack of trash and a enema to boot!
I gotta say this guy is a real peice of work.
So as you can see this has been a wirlwind of lies, deceit, and illusions. and there will be more coming

I think everyone has been fucked in this biz - shit, I see a guy who owns a nice program posting about getting robbed by shitty programmers amongst today's threads.

It may not be a con but taking down a website that has been paid for in full and has time left on a prepaid hosting account is way beyond bad business practices or just being unhappy with the product.

It does sound borderline con vs. bad business people on behalf of Teleteria (*I keep wanting to say Teletubbies), I would just like to see a bit more proof such as emails or other documentation.

I know of someone and he will be all over this on the boards when he wakes up from the deep sleep he is in, meanwhile I will start pulling out our copies of mail, although jay has not cussed me or my wife out yet like he did my new web buddy and his wife but you can experience there find customer service from the mails we have and I am sure it will only get worse.
Just received mail same ole blah,blah,blah about ruining my credit forever and thats no problem because bad credit only last so long and then gone, where as a bad reputation or name will need alot of good coments to turn it around and now would be a good time to start and push out refunds to pissed off customers and stop ripping people off.

I have seen alot of stuff on YNOT, that appears scary - just want to see some emails or responses if this Teletaria really is that bad as people make it out to be in ripping webmasters off.

Take a look at these 2 pages before Jay see's this and changes them. I did take some screen caps just in case.

This page shows everything you get, including FREE MONTHLY UPDATE OF CONTENT.

Bullshit....the content is never updated, and after 3 months he tries to bill you $175 per month for the holio feeds, which is not written into the contract.

The page also shows "unlimited bandwidth." But scroll down the page and you will see that you get 50 gigs...overage is $3.50 per gig.

This seems to be a popular name but for all the wrong reasons.

After Mr. Servidio received the letter from my attorney, he would no longer send any emails. He would only call. He proceeded to cuss me out, and threaten me . Due to ongoing legal issues, I cannot comment any further on the matter.

I can't think of a single instance in which VS content has been singled out and claimed to be poor quality. I have said as have others that have seen the content within a Teleteria pay site's member area is poor quality. This does not mean that their might be a few VS feeds that are okay. However, Teleteria claims that their turnkey pay sites come with 100,000 pictures and 100,000 videos. I don't think VS provides any of that content but the pictures are old and very poor and the videos for the most part are as well.

This brings up the problem that most webmasters have with turnkey pay sites and that is that in order to keep the cost down corners must be cut. Either they would need to cotain a very limited amount of quality content or a ton of crappy content. The latter is the case here.

The truth is that if it was possible to get a high quality pay site design and stock the member's area with a huge amount of quality content for $3000, every webmaster on GFY would be buying them up as fast as they were produced.

I would like to add a caveat to that last paragraph because from what I've seen at least one company is producing top notch turnkey pay sites at excellent prices and that is Blue Design Studios.

The problem is not with VS. The problem is the photo content in the mebers area. They are all old picks, and of mostly poor quality. Most of the picks are screen shots from 80's porn movies.

If you read the emails Jay sent me he states that "No one looks at the pictures anyway, so it doesn't matter."

He also states on his site, and in his contract that the pictures, VIDEOS, and stories are updated monthly.

The pics never change. The video is simply Holio feeds. I don't know if Holio updates the videos every month, but Jay claims the are.

I can believe this guy is still operating..he basically subleases everyones members area products for free..

Hes a thief..in my opinion of course!

The bottom line is: That he(Jay Servidio/Teleteria) is misrepresenting his products, been deceitful with his double standard 100% money back guarantee which seems to only apply we he feels he wants it to and it sure looks like it doesnt exist and has horrible customer service.

Thanks for your imput as we could use good strong opions from Veterans in the industry. I do agree it gives the industry a bad name, but you know there are alot of good people in the industry and potential newbies need to know about Teleteria or anyone else who is or has been spun in the web of Teleteria.

We refuse to purchase these sites and he still wants to discount final pmt. , but he can give me what he calls the best content and video's for another 3k-4k and as I have said thats liks throwing good money after bad, and I thought we purchased the best content and video's unmatched by other companies and thats a quote from his web site, of course the home page has changed in the last 3 weeks just about the time all this started to hit the fan,as well as some other info we saw there before and cannot find it now, we are pertty sure of this and we will keep looking for more changes .

We want all monies back so I can start from scratch with a reputable company and hopefully stand a chance, instead of haveing the best 3 sites known for chargebacks, oh hell that sounds like good business don't you think.NOT!!!
I am not going to be here to run fly by night sites and have a bad reputation.
We presently have another company with a good reputation because we treat our customers right /always right.
