Topbucks

I am new here. I just signed up w/Topbucks. I have a question for other webmasters especially those who work w/Topbucks.

Do you think Topbucks can offer better/or more benefits/features/tools, any additional products or services to help us to convert better?

Thank you for your help.

PR_Sebas 01-08-2007 11:01 AM

I think topbucks does a pretty good job with banners, and fhg... there's always room for improvement.. but i think they do well.

Topbucks is one of the best companies to do business with. They are outstanding and have a impeccable reputation.

I understand that, but I thought that there is always room for improvement and we can help them by providing them with our suggestions on how they can make it even better for us to do the business. Thank you.

Topbuxom Lea 01-08-2007 11:59 AM

There is always room for improvement in any program and we're certainly open (always open) to suggestions from webmasters on how to improve TopBucks.

We've got some great things in the works right now and will be communicating more in the near future. In the meantime, hit me, Jenn, Trixxxia, HappyPeekers or Angela up with anything you need.

If you have suggestions for us....bring 'em on :thumbsup

You signed up as an affiliate for TopBucks, or you're researching for TopBucks to see what more improvements could be made? :)

If you're on the prowl, maybe tackle this one:

Instead of doing img src='image.jpg' in your feeds, can you do img src="image.jpg"? Having the apos instead of the quotes differentiates your feeds from others, but not in a good way.

Sorry if I'm smoking crack, but I'm pretty sure it's TopBucks that has this issue. :)

Dear TopBucksTrixxxia,

My need is to listen more experienced webmasters and their suggestions. Thank you very much for your intervention. :1orglaugh

Yup, TB did a great job of improving their feeds based on user suggestions. They're night and day from what they were! :thumbsup

edgeprod, looking at that now but IE7 doesn't show me the raw code it shows me the feed 'clean' but will check with the RSS guy to make sure it's done with the " rather than '.

Thanks

Just like we know you would, because you're on the ball! :thumbsup

Thanks for making the lives of quite a few ABP users easier. :)

Love Topbucks, hate the rss feeds... at least for blog posts..

1. The titles are generic, if i remember.. something like:

"Scene 142...." or something like that instead of a custom, creative title to grab the users attention and solicit interest.

2. Cruddy, short feeds with very little text, (like 1 line :1orglaugh ) and either no, or very low keyword density for the niche. So... uh... basically useless, but thanks anyway. :winkwink:

They changed them, based on user feedback, as far as I know. People have ICQ'd me saying they got a LOT better.

I'm not going to argue with you - there's is room for improvement in our feeds. They've come a long way but they are far from perfect. I don't think there is too little text BTW (but comparing with the other sites I personally pull feeds from, ours are amongst the longer ones) - but then again, I'm pulling the RAW RSS feed and not the other stuff (so not sure if those are served differently)

The title issue I agree with.

I have many ideas of what it should be but I need to pick some good blogger brains to see if it's humanly possible and if getting it implemented will get the right results I think they would.

Actually, they aren't taking credit for it but a lot of the user feedback and criticism was given by edgeprod (before he bought AutoBloggerPro) Chio when I kept telling him my issues with my ABP, he would tell me what was wrong with our feeds, JACE - he gave a lot of help on fixing stuff and tested it for me cuz I was having WP issues and couldn't, Jayeff - he helped me understand WP a whole lot more - so this is my official THANK YOU :)

Hey, hey, no need for us to take credit. It's not much work for us to make suggestions -- it's just nice when a host LISTENS. :winkwink:

It's just one big love-fest in here! :1orglaugh

That would be stupid because half their webmasters would quit.
Many people hate NATS for various reasons.

PornHero 01-08-2007 03:06 PM

I love topbucks :thumbsup

My one suggestion would be to not let the movie trailer's "expire" on the tours.

With how cheap bandwith is these days i believe the increase in sales/conversions from surfers teased by the trailers would more than pay for the added bandwith. Especially with the popularity of YouTube, more and more the internet is video-based - and sites that dont push the video aspect of what they offer are losing ground to their competitors that do.

Topbucks is one of the top 3 reality sponsors in terms of the size and scope of their offerings. And the 2 other top reality sponsors don't expire their trailers - which says something i think.

just my :2 cents:

Keep up the good work TopBucks! :)

Already in the works. The non-expiring trailers - most trailers are directly linkable now - but I gather you're referring to the older sites with trailers that were long gone right?

It's only available to the affiliates. GFY is great to get a broader response + I personally like to hear more about who's not an affiliate or who's not actively promoting. My active affiliates have me on the speed dial equivalent for the net to make sure I know what they want, when they want it and in what flavour. :1orglaugh

This is a great thread for me to come back to hehehe - I've keeping off the boards for a little while - but constructive criticism always grabs my attention.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

Hi Trixxxia,

the expired trailers seem to occur on more recent episodes.

For example this episode:
http://www.gangbangsquad.com/s2/gbs-s2-133.html
has a date of Oct 5th but the trailer has already expired and not viewable anymore.

TopBucks should consider not expiring trailers - I think short trailers help to convert surfers into members - please see my reasoning above. :2 cents:

Thanks :)

Top Bucks is one of the best (if not THE best) adult sponsors.

I hear they are coming out with cool new offerings.

I can't wait!
