We tend to put businesses (and people) up on pedestals and talk about them as if they were always there and will always be there. Worse, they start believing their own myths and think they can create their own rules. But the reality is that big companies come and go, the same as small ones. Right now in this business we have one big operator apparently bent on ensuring that in 10 years all people will be saying is "do you remember...?"

Interesting to see them trying to monetize the ibill.com domain name. There must be thousands of outdated links to the domain on the web, which makes it a fair bet the domain is making money.

They are using Joomla! for the site, which is an open source content management system. Joomla! forked from Mambo CMS some time ago.

I'm sitting on a $24,000 AUD default judgement which I obtained against iBill a few years ago.. I don't expect to ever see the money though.
