not good to post personal info - edited by TexasDreams

Guy is completely legit, too. Verifies info in chat, etc.

If someone lives in Norway near this guy there is his info :) These people who lie and charge back are so bad for the industry.

BlackCrayon 08-10-2006 01:11 PM

i don't even see why its legal to charge back so much. there should be a time limit or money limit to it. could someone get away with charging back 2 years to some mainstream dating site like match.com successfully? some how i doubt it.

Stumps 08-10-2006 01:16 PM

thats absolutley disgusting.

avalanche 08-10-2006 01:46 PM

That sucks!

DomP_nl 08-10-2006 01:53 PM

it sux for sure, no doubt but I wouldnt be happy when something happened to the guy after I posted that. :2 cents:

cool1 08-10-2006 01:54 PM

Sounds like a damn crook
I hate that folks are able to charge back with no questions asked.

TheSenator 08-10-2006 01:57 PM

What was reason for such chargeback, if you can tell us, please?

posting personal datas on a board picked up by search engines is the deepest way of war i know - hope you will rot in hell- and i hope for my person that i will never drop down to such a level as a webmaster
suggestion for improvement:
choose awe in my sig, never had any chargebacks

i have like 8-12 chargebacks a year for all my ccbill revshare accounts, but i get a bit more chargebacks for cam and dating programs, not sure why it is so.
I really like adultwebmastempire program, where people have to buy credits before they spent it.
But webcams.com is a great and good converting program too.

If this lying thief charges back when he clearly made the charges our privacy policy dictates that we can post his info wherever we'd like. Why do you take up for a thief? He is stealing from us because we do not deduct chargebacks from our models 40% payout and plus there is a $50 fee per chargeback, so this thief cost us over $500.

It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to post personal info for every person who charges back when the charges were clearly legitimate. Nothing is wrong with sharing this information so site owners could blacklist him.

Roger? Is that you? How is the weather in norway?:winkwink:
(but yeah I agree posting his details here is pretty low.)

fuzebox 08-10-2006 02:54 PM

What I hate are NSF checks... If I had paysites I wouldn't even accept ACH.

PMdave 08-10-2006 02:54 PM

I am always surprised when some program owner says 'we do not deduct chargebacks from our models'. Models can cause a cb easy (promissing a custumor all kinds of things and doing nothing but teasing- till the custumor decides its been enough and charges back everything he spent). Webmasters on the other hand get hit with chargebacks while they have absolutely no control once a member joined.

I live 4 hours of drive from Stavanger... But you shouldnt put his name on here.

BIGTYMER 08-10-2006 03:01 PM

Posting personal info is fucked up. Yes, the chargeback is fucked up but who is a bigger man? You or the theif?

There's a deliberate scam where they get cracker friends to sign up with stolen CC numbers and sit in per-minute chat doing nothing. For that the crackers get a percentage of the model's [fraudulent] payout.

How can you be 100% sure that it was the owner of the card racking up the charges? What if he just dropped the card owner's name and location in chat because he's smarter than most?

Besides standing outside his window with a copy of his driver's license and confirming it's him jerking off there's no real way you can know who is behind the kb...

Your members should read your privacy policy.
You should read the GFY rules regarding posting personal info..
