even if it sucks, it will be 500% better than any microsoft system
|
It has no excuse NOT to be better than the 360.
|
I've always been a Playstation guy, so I'm patiently waiting, but I wonder how many sales they lost to people who just got the 360 instead of waiting.
|
I'm not Playstation fan.
But I'm going to get one. |

this isn't real? |
I must admit i have 360 and the computer still blows these next gen systems out of the water. Maybe its a programming thing but games that were multiplatform such as Oblivion and Quake 4 were way more impressive on the PC than the 360. I believe ps3 will be the same, these consoles just cant complete with the pc

When you see games specially made for xbox 360 like Ghost recon and Fight night round 3 with the beautiful shimmering graphics and all x2 anti-aliasing and the fantastic graphics of Project gothem the xbox 360 blows most PC's out of the water. You need a $3500+ PC to compare graphics to a $400 xbox 360. The xbox 360 has rummble still in its awesome controller and the ps3 won't have rumble and most games for the ps3 will be out on the xbox 360 as well. I think Microsoft is going to get a good leg up on the ps3 after launching 1+ years early with a pretty awesome system. I hope they are wrong about the ps3 above, I personally hope its moer powerful than the xbox 360 so the two can fight it out for dominance and we can all win with cheaper pricing |

I remember paying $200 for a ColecoVison in 1982. And if you adjust for inflation Intellivison cost $800 in todays dollars when it first came out. Also if you make a XBOX 360 that is the same as a PS3 it would cost you over $600. The Wi-fi is $100 extra the HD-DVD player is extra( not sure of the price, I'm sure it wil be at least $200 ) they XBOX 360 that comes with the HDD is $400. And that's only a 20 GB HDD. The premium PS3 comes with a 60 GB HDD. And if you want to make your game saves portable you don't have to buy expensive memory cards like the XBOX 360. $40 for a 64 MB memory card? For $20 you can get a 256 MB USB flash drive and save your PS3 games on that. |
[QUOTE=GatorB]Dreamcast had 15 months on PS2 and over 2 years on XBOX how did that work out for Sega?
Comparing Dreamcast to Xbox 360 (with the might of Microsoft behind it is not quite far), Microsoft has endless cash to throw at this to make it work. Playing the Xbox 360 on a 45inch Highdef LCD tv is freaking amazing, graphics are all 2x anti-alising and the games out thus far are super polished and fantastic to play. Whatever ps3 comes out with Xbox 360 has the power, the graphics and the games to compete toe to toe easy. I look forward to seeing the PS3 and I hope they make the most of any advantages they have over the Xbox360. 2 good competing consoles is what we need, if one dominated the market we would all loose in the end. |
