Kanye West...
Back-peddling like a mother fucker now! :1orglaugh :1orglaugh :1orglaugh
Mark my words; Kanye West will not be heard from ever again. I think he had a brain fart and didn't realize that "Conservative America" owns the media now. Those were the 7 words that ended his career, "George Bush Doesn't Care About Black People". :2 cents: Remember the Dixie Chicks? Remember when they bashed Bush while in Europe? Have you heard shit from them since? EXACTLY! |
yea no shit, he's finished...

They were on Friday's relief show for Katrina ( or Corina if you prefer... ) :1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
Yeah he is done for sure. He will prolly make good sales from this album but thats about it
|
Yeah, I couldn't name anyone who made their career in the rap industry with bad publicity......
:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh:1orglaugh :1orglaugh |
The type of people who buy Kanye's music aren't conservitive. He'll be around around for a while.

actually it's hard to say right now, cuz i was in the bay area this weekend...and their main rap station had little commercials saying shit like "106 KMEL...we support kanye west" and all this other bullshit...
|
Clear Channel Communications (which owns a majority of the "popular" radio stations in America) is ran by one of the top supporters of which U.S. President?
Fill in the Blanks: GE_RGE W. B_SH, J_. |

How about this one HighOnAcid.. Dixie Chicks are a country artist.. who is the majority of country fans? Redneck confederate republicans living in the south.. better believe the stations there wouldnt play their music.. Get a fucking clue. |
All those darkies look the same..who will remember wtf he said
|
Wow -- I've been missing out.
I should have bought "The College Dropout" and "Late Registration"... |
who really gives a fuck anyways? i can't believe kanye west went from jay-z's little fag producer to rap superstar. he is a fucking NERD. all he raps about is gay shit and politics. people don't wanna hear that jesus shit in the club, they wanna hear some grimey ass crunk shit...
|
kanye west isnt going anywhere.. he makes great music, and is still loved by his fans. it doesnt matter that conservatives control america, because those arent the people who buy his albums, and if they do, i highly doubt they'll let a political comment influence their decision on whether to purchase his CD or not. i also dont think the business heads are going to stop him, with all the money he is bringing in.
|
too bad he couldnt have said that before Bush's reelection
|
I don't agree with him but he has skills. Better than Little John and the rest of the crap rap out there.
Diamonds are Forever. :winkwink: |

You can have the best album EVER but if no one hears it then it's shit. Pretty simple if you think about it. |

If emimen did what kayne did _that day_ hed be in the same position: fucked. |
hoa is true.. clear channel owns most of the radio stations black people listen to and radio stations have play lists dictated by money and power.... not how good your beats or rhymes are.

If it's not played 500 times a day then it's not popular. If it's not amped up then it's not popular. If it's not marketed then it's not popular. Do any of you shit talking Hip Hopsters even know a shit about the music industry?!?!?!?! |

It's all about money and his shit is going to fly off the shelves now because a huge number of people in this country agree with his statements. If I was black I would have been thinking the same thing during that joke of an operation put on by Louisiana and the Feds.

You can't judge the effect of his comments by this new album's record sales lol. he's had singles out for months promoting this album. it's gonna sell regardless of what he said a few days ago. it will take awhile to see what happens to him...
|
he isn't done
