As it will get harder to get conversions I think the way of marketing will change. More agrresive and to the point, It will be harder to get in when you don't have a good plan. I started designing my own sites like 5 years ago and realy enjoyed it. I put up some fake sites to build a portflolio to show of what I was capable of and after a whilke I was getting my first orders. Since then every month got better and better. I quite university (wich I still regret) and started doing this fulltime. I just learned by doing tutorials, but I think as I love to design I improved my skills over the years.
