A Saxo VTS turbo will destroy an M3. Although it is a small car.

I got my old E36 M3 in beautiful condition with 76k miles on it for $17,800 and that was from a dealer. Private party you could get it much much cheaper.

Subaru WRX's were introduced to the US and Canada in early 2001. Approx 70 hp less than the WRX STi, but easily (and cheaply) modded...
