Also some of the larger fished here could use babesandstuff as a mainstream portal to compete with the likes of men.com and maximonline.com as an alternate to their adult sites like playboy.com or whatever .. theres a huge market for mainstream people who cannot surf adult orientated sites in work

yea no shit I tried to go to the main URL and it crashed my browser trying to install something via activeX.. I have mine turned off but I couldn't stop your pop up boxes..

the toolbar is gone now .. it was only there temporarily anyway .. was put uyp friday as we started to get a lot of traffic for the cameron diaz bondage tape and wanted to convert some traffic

yea I just can't stand the stuff, I do service calls sometimes for a major ISP and it's insane how bad spyware has gotten. I'd say 70% of their service calls are spyware related. The average person with a internet connection has no clue what it is or how to get rid of it. Some of these machines can barely boot up with out crashing because they are so loaded with the crap.


I just did 15 of them yesterday and 11 were spyware related so I'm a bit ticked at anything spyware related right now

So it's 2-4 years just to get your money back. That's the way too much. IMO its worth not more than 3-5 thousands.

ill be the first to admit i may not me bringing it to its full potential on current income but it has a solid 6,000 members forums all verified email addressed users

it gets over 7k during the week most days and then hits peaks depending on what its getting listed or when it gets linked and it continues to grow at about 20% traffic per month

ahh the old "selling my site for what the buyer might make from it, not based on what I make from it" :Graucho

even if the buyer was to be an idiot and cash in on the email address's only he would make half his money back instantly .. and i didnt say that i said that i may have not made the most of it

That's a VERY nice site but I seriously doubt you'll get $12000 for it. If you do, please post here 'cos I've got a celeb/pornstar/babe site that has been generating a steady $750 - $1000 per month for the past 2 years, and only uses 25gigs per month. It's not for sale, but if someone offers me $20 grand I'll make another one!

unfortunately, your projected potential doesn't justify jack up the price that high. i can easily say any of my sites have the potential to earn $10K a month if they were used properly and had more traffic.

unfortunately, withoout hard stats and real numbers to back up what your saying, the potential of the site amounts to very little worth.

if i buy your site for your lowest price, $12K, at $430 profit a month, it'll take me a full 28 months to make a profit. at $20K, it would take me 47 months.

your price is way too high. sorry.

A web site is worth 3-6 months profit max, this biz is too volatile to risk taking any longer than that to recoup your initial investment.

You're like the guy trying to trade in his 3K car and wants 10K for it because those 250K on the odometer are "highway" miles and you think the car is a "creampuff"

If the site has the kind of "potential" that you say it does then you need to bring it to its full potential and THEN sell it for what you want.

well it doesnt look like im going to be getting a decent offer for the site today .. but in six months time the site will be much bigger , have a lot more members and will have gotten a lot more mainstream coverage and the price will go up with it

Honestly i dont think my valuation on the site is overthetop , if as its shown in the adult biz these days email address's are worth as much as people say they are at an average of $1 per one then the site is worth at least $6 k to begin with , secoundly if you say 6 months revenue then that puts the site up too 8.5k minimum and for the work ive put in on seo work and getting the site its good name today , the design and the content to date and the links inbound and search engine coverage i think its well worth my bottom price of 10,000 Euro or 12k us but thats my opinion
