why are people more interested in posting crap sothey can get their sig out?

Why when I introduce a female webmaster do the idiots post get your tits out?

Why do people seem more interested to discuss current affaris and not theadult biz we all work in?

Why do people offer $50 for the most posts in a day, surely if you wanted to be paid to post you would join the 'other' board?

These are the same questions that I ask myself when I scroll through the threads looking for information.

A female I refered here described the experience of posting here as a very abusive experience and that if it had happened in the work place the people concerned would have been in deep shit.

Has anyone stopped to think that a females view on your site or the market as a whole will add value to your business? Ive met a few of the people who post on this board at trade shows and females within the business. This board should be where I can take these relationships to the next level not for posting abuse and shite.

So this is a plea to the owners of this board, make GFY a business forum not a playground for cowards who get off on abusing people, how can the owners of the board honestly exspect me to refer people to your pages when they get abused on arrival and asked to get their tits out?

I and I would guess 90% of others check the threads daily with a view to trading with people throughout the globe right now I am looking for specific sponsors for niche sites but thats no way I am scrolling through all the shit thats been posted to find what I need.

Theres no point starting a new thread as it will get super seeded by some competition to win a mouse mat if you post 1 million times in an hour.

Well, speaking from a female point of view...tell your friend to lighten up and toughen up.

Rule Number 1: Do not say "Hi i'm Happy Girl and I'm new and a female webmaster. Guaranteed she will be welcomed and asked to show her tits, and if you read this board as much as you imply you should have known that and warned her.
When I joined the board I never started a thread and introduced myself, I just started posting in order to avoid all that stuff.

Rule Number 2: A lot of business happens on this board, you just don't see most of it. A lot of times business does not start with a post that says "lets do business" a lot of times it comes from getting to know others in the business during their "down time" on the boards. You start chatting on ICQ, deals are discussed and made.

Rule Number 3: This is not Chrysler Corporation and your friend should understand this is the PORN business, so your friend should stop comparing her experience here with that of a general work place and expect people to behave in a business like manner. Look at the URL.... Go Fuck Yourself...that should be a clue to you and her.

Other than that, relax....chill...and tell her welcome to the boards for me

I would say about 70% of the people on this board have no business to talk about. Lots of them are here to post and sell sig space. I agree, i think the fact that the main forum page has about 2-5 posts about business and 50 posts about pure BS.

Look at it from GFYs point of view, the more page views they get the more they can charge for banners spots.
