60k / 2.1 million uniques = 2.8 cents per unique

remember that type in traffic is high quality so i think it's well priced at 3 cents a pop. we've been selling it between 3 and 5 cents a click for 5 years, trust me it's a good deal at 2.8 cents!

Basically,

35 hits = $1
3500 hits = $100

I can provide references, just don't tell them you're only paying 2k cuz most of them paid more than that. Most of them held on over 6 months also so they were making good money with it. Just like any site though, the surfers need to see new stuff to keep buying or clicking.

Yes I know that type in traffic is great but you have to make profit from paying 60k. I am sure it can be done with the right plan.

Here's a hint: So far my best guys were a ppc engine. They paid 70k a month for over 16 months and were able to make a nice profit on it. That was a simple model cuz they just had to average over 3 cents a click to make money and since they were charging an average of 10 cents a click, it turned out to be quite profitable for them.

The expiring deal is with a large dialer company which was able to maximize revenue for most countries but I guess they're not making enough to renew further so if someone knows dialers really well, plus can optimize all types of surfers in many languages, this might be a good chance for you. I'm up for discussion....

in my opinion this not such a good deal because it overestimates the quality of general adult traffic. xxx.com is a very generic adult term (like 'sex.com') and so won't convert as well. You can do the math but possibly as much as 1/10 the traffic on google adwords at 0.05 that is better targeted will make you more money.

I was going to post something similar to this. 2.8 cents/unique is great if they are typing in "blondemidgetanal.com" but for "xxx.com"? Please, how many of those people will just be looking for Vin Diesel?

You have to be extremely skilled with type-in only traffic to make it work for you properly.

I've had good and bad results and have tested the highest quality type-in domains possible.

Its the most expensive traffic out there and you can make money but it takes a lot of tweaking to get it right.

Bear in mind that with type-ins you can out the traffic through the grinder right from the word go and you have no restrictions in what you can do with it, how you market it, what scripting/ redirections/ consoles you use etc. Adwords and many other places you can buy traffic limit your marketing. Running campaigns with PPC engines also requires reasonably constant monitoring, and it would take a lot of work to get to 70K a day through adwords. A bulk type-in situation like this (from a sigle source) would mean that, once you had your mousetrap tweaked to where it was generating a satisfactory ROI, you could pretty much leave it alone and work on other stuff.

If you have 2.1 million uniques a month why not use them for yourself. There is lots of sponsors out there.

Type in traffic can not be compared in any way to tgp or free host traffic.

I'm not going to say anymore because, as KRL knows, I prefer to keep it low profile when it comes to domain traffic specifics.
