MPA2 give me the yays and the nays
good or bad??
|
someone has to have some opinions on this other than a sales rep. :1orglaugh
|
bump, :helpme

I know two VERY happy program owners that use it. Krome here on GFY and Randy from AdultMegaCash both use it. I'm going to launch my program eventually and it's the back end I'm going to pick.

cool anyone else?
|
Make sure that when you get it, you get a price on getting it set up exactly the way you want it so there aren't too many 'unexpected' charges and customization jobs.

Jimmy & lagwagon,
MPA2 is a program not unlike Microsoft Office. If you want something buildt around "as is", it needs to be customized. You guys should know this, being professionals ;=) PS. We have about 30 very happy webmasters using MPA2 so far... All making lots of more money from day one. I would dare go as far as to say that MPA2 is now containing features a webmaster should look for as a standard when choosing an affiliate software... :rainfro |

1. Can I use Jettis, CCBILL and Globill? 2. Can I have the checks still send by Jettis, CCbill and Globill? Thnx Andre |
I don't understand. We should have accounts at CCBill, PSW and etc. for your program or we just signup with you and you deal with processors.
Please answer? |

Please answer |
you have to have accounts with the third party processors. MPA2 is software, that's all.
check out LikeWhoa's affiliate software, i was very impressed. |
I wasn't too impressed by it...
But I know a lot of webmasters who are... :2 cents: |
It has a built in shaver.

1. Can I use Jettis, CCBILL and Globill? 2. Can I have the checks still send by Jettis, CCbill and Globill? 1 - GloBill is not integrated. 2 - The program has a built in feature that exports a file that you pick up in Quickbooks and you send the checks yourself. However, there are companies out there you can send this file to and they will do it for you. For a nominal fee. Soteko and Easy01 - We give you all the instructions to get your accounts with Epoch, CCBill and PSW as well as Electracash for checks and NoCreditCard for dialer. YOU get the accounts with them (and good rates because you use MPA2) and MPA2 will get them all to talk to each other. FATPad - Webmasters shave, not programs... :glugglug |
Oystein: Is it setup to work with Netbilling, or are you still "working" on this? :glugglug

Netbilling is scheduled to be done by the 15th this month, so that I guess must be very happy news for everyone that are using their own merchant account :thumbsup |
Pros: Nice interface and sales tracking
Neutral: Monthly fee, so it is fairly cheap on a monthly basis but overtime it could get pricey Cons: For only $50/month more on your monthly fee they will add a shave module (Heard this from multiple paysite operaters that use the program and claim not to have the shaving module installed.). ZoiNk |
For a cost of $5500 we could custom program you a solution similar to how MPA2 works.
Drop an email to our lead developer for further information: [email protected] Regards, Lee |

Not to be rude Lee, but I think this was a "MPA2 yays and nays" thread... If you want business, I can send you business. Just shoot ME an email and I will send you plenty... |

and when will it be set up that we dont have to mail our own checks and they will still come from the processors?
|
I would rather have a total ecom solution as opposed to a single piece of the puzzle

look at it like this, you can pay them $300 a month, but once your with them you HAVE to keep thier software, because loosing it would be a great hit on your business, ie; loss of stats, cascading billing, etc. what if they go under? or raise the prices? do you really want to be dependant on someone elses company to run your own? if you keep them around for 1 year, thats 12x300 = $3600, thats a lot of cash, considering you can easy pay a good programmer less to program it all for you then you would pay mansion for using it for a year.
its your call, its easy and its a great product, but to me the cons far outweight the pros |
MPA2 has a monthly fee as well as the price I see on their website?
Clickfeel, your software is less than Mansions? Sounds like it. |
but in the long run it is a very good product and adds a lot of robust features to your program, that a lot of affiliates are looking for. and well we all know how long programmers take and how a lot have problems delivering the goods. so if your on a budget and want ease of use, then go for it. i understand that is is plug and play and ready to go. and they cover the visa fee;s which is bonus land. plus you get all the updates as well.
|
We are switching to MPA2. All beta testing should be done by Tuesday.
MPA2's user interfaces are bad ass! |

RedShoe - Well thank you ;) Just wait until you see our next update. Badass is just its middle name! :Graucho |
Garry,
Sounds like you are about ready... I know a few webmasters are waiting. Mitch |

Any link for LikeWhoa's affiliate software? |
Real Good Program - MPA2 rocks!
Check out here: Mansion Productions Garry is a close friend of mine, a good business man! |
if i got my own merchant account with netbilling could i run mpa2 to process my transactions for me? this way i save a lot of % per transaction, but i like the idea of cascading the billing. so what else would i do to set this up? i like this thread.
|
And why there is only a limited number of billings in MPA2?
|
Hi all,,,
Ill try to do a quick answer here to everyone that wanted one :) On an internet Cafe in Hamburg now, so sorry if this answer gets a little short :) First of all Nick, stop saying that we are friends, you know Im only after your body and nothing else ;) Indigo - No there are no links to likewhoas program, the reacon for that is that no one have contacted us about it yet. But we will get that done asap if some one ask us for it. And yes, Jettis is working with mpa2as well. Right now we have Epoch, CCBill and PSW as the main processors, BUT you can change out one of those 3 with Jettis, Ibill and now soon Netbilling. Lagwagon - Guess I have already answered this one now :) Sigurd - The reacon why we have "only" 3 processors in the cascading is because we belive that the customer would get tired if we just kept it coming. Its better that after 3 processors you tell the customer that you are sorry, but you could not process his credit card. Please try our other options. Then you offer him to signup using check or Dialer. And yes, you can also give referrals to your webmasters with signups coming from dialer or check :) Ill will try to watch this post on my way down to Spain,, So feel free to post any questions you have here :) Or call my office and they will put you trhough to my cell phone |

Gary, my partner dynaspain contacted you a month ago as we probably will use mpa2 for our new program but i have a doubt also, you use ncc as dialer payment option, but we run already our own dialer company, how easy would be to replace ncc with our own dialer? is that en extra custom job?
Btw, are you coming to Spain? when and where? mybe we can have some beers here :) |
Anyone that thinks they can have an enterprise affiliate package built as complete as MPA2 for less than $50,000 is naive. Anyone that thinks they'll spend less than $5000 a year in programming to maintain such software isn't doing very much innovation on what they have.
Anyone who is truly concerned about there being a shave option in MPA2... well, if an affiliate program wants to steal they'll steal. That's why you should pick your business partners by their reputation for integrity and not the pictures of BLING on the front page of their affiliate program. :1orglaugh Besides, I've seen that most of the programs have similar features for shaving. Lastly, credit needs to be given to the fact that MPA2 is tried and tested, as any affiliate management software should be. The value of having more than a year under it's belt is huge. Brad |
