People always say that the mighty never fall but in this industry history shows that the biggest players are often built on a house of cards.

How long do you think it will be until they fall or something happens like they get bought out or have their assets broken up?

I give it eight months. They are already bleeding.

It was already reported on mainstream news that Playboy is not interested in deal re-negotiation. Its a standard move for companies to get their properties back in deals not doing well.

The lack of info coming out of Manwin since their (supposed) leader was released from jail to house arrest (after having to post a multi-millon dollar bond), makes one wonder if Fabian is even in charge at Manwin anymore, or if instead Antoon Feras (the former Mansef money-laundering era management holdover) has in essence staged a bloodless coup and taken over, and is still the one calling the shots while Fabian remains on house arrest awaiting trial (Feras is the one that claimed in the only official announcement that I have seen, that he in-effect was in charge of Manwin when Fabian Thylmann was indisposed, sitting in a jail cell for weeks in December, on suspicion of massive tax evasion, and possibly other criminal wrongdoing).

All of the negative publicity over the past few months has certainly tarnished the image and sullied the reputation that Manwin tried so hard to cultivate/buy in order to appear legitimate to investors and takeover targets. It must be pretty unsettling to Manwin's investors to now see everything going sour so quickly.

Manwin has fallen from seemingly omnipotent, to unseemly and fairly impotent, in the course of a few short months, with the company currently in a crisis/siege mentality mode, maintaining a virtual PR lockdown. :2 cents:

Anyone who has done as many deals as they have is likely to have done a few bad ones. How would there tubes even go under at this point? Playboy used to be a great company but now? Seems like maybe they would want to give back those channels.
