TV Shows worth watching?

What are some that you are currently watching? Looking for something new to watch.

bronco67 02-06-2013 01:57 PM

I love Workaholics.

Justified is the only other show I look forward to each week, because most of my shows are on their break.

American Horror Story: Asylum was pretty awesome.

and you can't go wrong with Spartacus if you want some good sex and violence sprinkled with a little bit of history.

Choopa_Pardo 02-06-2013 01:57 PM

Stay away from Downton Abbey. There's tons of buzz around it, but I found it to be ultimately disappointing. The first and second series were fun, but series three was BAD.

That show is the new Entourage. Jumped the shark REAL hard.

Currently, I only make time for Top Gear UK and Breaking Bad.

good call on Workaholics. Very fun.

Profits of Doom 02-06-2013 01:59 PM

House of Lies on Showtime is pretty damn good, but I love anything with Don Cheadle in it...

loreen 02-06-2013 02:00 PM

Watching Sherlock now :)

Justified.

When does SOA come back on?

bronco67 02-06-2013 02:02 PM

Anybody watching Banshee on Cinemax? I saw the first episode and need to catch up.

Anybody ever watch Strike Back(also Cinemax)? Good action series.

Forgot to mention Shameless on Showtime is also a really good show...

Some Guy 02-06-2013 02:05 PM

Breaking Bad and The Walking Dead are two can't-miss shows.

Workaholics is hilarious. Love that show! Another hilarious show is Eastbound and Down. Danny McBride cracks me up so hard.

I haven't watched that House of Cards show on Netflix yet but I hear it's pretty damn good.

DWB 02-06-2013 02:17 PM

It is in-between seasons right now but Homeland is awesome. Start from season 1 and catch up. Season 3 starts in September.

JamesChoopa 02-06-2013 02:21 PM

Shameless is good. Duck Dynasty is good too.

The Following on Fox is good too. Just started 3 weeks ago so it's easy to catch up on. Give it a shot. Pretty interesting.

I probably will watch that. It's on my DVR, but I have no time in my life for another TV show. I also want to start watching The Americans on FX.

bronco67 02-06-2013 06:23 PM

Already been mentioned, but I would say Walking Dead is one you need to watch. There was a scene this season where a guy has to fight a zombie while tied to a chair, and it was one of the most entertaining things I saw on any movie or TV show.

Sarah_Jayne 02-06-2013 06:55 PM

My must see tv is:

Breaking Bad
Dexter
Mad Men
True Blood (I know but don't care)

adendreams 02-06-2013 07:00 PM

SOA - BREAKING BAD - GAME OF THRONES

ftw

Sarah_Jayne 02-06-2013 07:05 PM

Oh and I am now into the HBO show Girls. I resisted but, as much as I hate to say it, they are a lot like myself and my friends at that age. It is sort of Sex and the City for less together women.

Supz 02-06-2013 07:06 PM

Homeland and FamilynGuy

Deej 02-06-2013 07:07 PM

everything in this thread thus far, excluding true blood... is amazing!

Most everything worth watching has been listed.

If you want something funny, Raising Hope is one of the most consistently funny shows on TV.

kane 02-06-2013 07:32 PM

I'm currently enjoying The Following which is on Monday nights. It stars Kevin Bacon as a former FBI agent called back into action when the serial killer he caught escapes. It is pretty cool. If you have Netflix and like political dramas check out their new show House of Cards. It is very good.

C H R I S 02-06-2013 07:38 PM

Game of Thrones and Homeland best shows on TV .... finished both and want something new while I'm waiting for new seasons.

baryl 02-06-2013 07:48 PM

Homeland is basically 24 with more fucking. It's still pretty entertaining.

MiLo 02-06-2013 09:24 PM

House of Cards on Netflix = Addiction.

I agree. I just finished the 6th episode this morning. I had to force myself to shut it off and work instead of watching the next episode.

Slick 02-06-2013 10:13 PM

Impractical Jokers on TruTv is one of the funiest shows I've seen in a long time, it's a MUST see !!! As far as other shows, I love Raising Hope, Modern Family, The Middle, and even though it's fake as hell, I got hooked on Lizard Lick Towing, ha ha ha.

2MuchMark 02-06-2013 10:24 PM

One episode to go.

Horny Dude 02-06-2013 11:42 PM

Modern Family, SOA, Breaking Bad (can't wait till that comes back). I still love watching Pawn Stars.

Actually i am.
Saw the first four episodes and it's fun. I have to say though, the aggression is a little over the top, no police or citizen would allow this for that long;-). Could have been a little more 'real'.

nvaonline 02-07-2013 12:50 AM

Good call. I've been addicted to this show from day one. Eight new episodes coming soon! Can't wait.

I got a chance to check out the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop last month while I was in Vegas and it was a real trip. I didn't get to see any of the cast members but just seeing the actual shop itself was super cool.

:)

Katie-LifeSelector 02-07-2013 03:53 AM

Depending on the genre you are looking for.. but what I think is the best :

Oldies :
- The Office - Comedy /Romance
- Suits - Comedy/Drama
-Game of Thrones - Drama /Fantasy /Adventure

New ones :

-Legit -Comedy
-The Following - Drama with Kevin Bacon
-Do No Harm - Drama

Enjoy!

Some Guy 02-07-2013 03:58 AM

The Office is one of those shows I never got into but always felt like I should have. I've never even seen one whole episode. Now that Netflix has it I think I'm going to give it a shot since I hear nothing but good things about it.

I felt the same way about it then I started watching it on Netflix and after a few episodes I was hooked. It is funny and very well done.
