    Documentary fans - some recommendations?

    Looking for some ideas for interesting Documentaries to watch. Most recent ones I've seen are Inside Job (everyone should watch it) Food Inc. (Informative and eye-opening) And Exit through the gift shop which is pretty cool.

    Anyone with a suggestion for anything documentary or perhaps even true story films, please post them up

                                  Along with the Aaron Russo video above, this is equally as important, it's an interview with Norman Dodd, former head researcher for the Reece Committee. He spent his life researching the Tax Exempt Foundations, he eventually discovered the disturbing truth behind them; they are there to create war, this is because war is the easiest time to make changes to the way we live, to eventually shape the world into one that leaves the Banker's in total control. World Wars I and II were both planned and funded from New York, but it was just to make changes in the world, not for the reasons that 99% of the people imagine.

                                          and: Mr. Smith Goes to Washington (fiction, but banned in a lot of countries because of how critical it was of certain political practices)

                                                  I don't believe that Burzynski has a cure that is being covered up, so is there another reason to watch this video?

                                                      This one, Aaron claims that Nick told him 9 months before 9/11 that there was going to be an event, etc... did Aaron ever talk about this pre-9/11? It's all to easy to claim you knew something was going to happen *after* it happened. Not only that, does Nick Rockefeller have any real credentials other than a surname?

                                                                              "World at War" multi part series on ww2. Interviews with people like hitlers secretary, albert spier, etc...

                                                                              "Forks over knives" will blow your mind on how you look at food, meat and health in general.

                                                                              "Fat Sick and Nearly Dead" If you need a change in your life, this is such an inspiring health story.

                                                                              "Bigger stronger faster" was def. a cool look at roids and the truth.

                                                                              "Pumping Iron" Arnold swarzenneger 70's documentary, that launched his career and you'll understand why. Such a magnetic character. Also, the making of, is a must see.

                                                                                          It shows what the FDA will do to protect the Cancer industry, if one looks back over the years you discover that people have had their labs burned down and some have even been murdered. It's vital for everyone to believe this 'Cancer Research' myth, that it's an illness that's very difficult to cure.

                                                                                              The 9/11 part is a small detail of the interview, but it sounds like Russo didn't take the information seriously until after it happened.

                                                                                                          What about other countries? Japan? China? Russia? Israel? UK? Europe? Scandinavia? Cuba? Venezuela? etc... especially countries where health care costs are high and provided by the government. There's nothing much preventing them from curing cancer.

                                                                                                                  I'm not buying it, because he had been very political and conspiracy-minded previous to 9/11. He made films about this kind of thing and it would've been something he'd have mentioned, not kept quiet about until 7 or 8 years later.

                                                                                                                  Sorry, but as I've said before I'm highly skeptical and I require more proof than very loosely based information after the fact.

So far he has directed short documentaries The Archive and the beautifully shot American Juggalo http://americanjuggalo.com/, and now he is working on his first full length documentary Oxyana, about a town in West Virginia that is stricken with Oxycontin addiction http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/...d-by-sean-dunn. The kid is talented as fuck and you're going to be hearing a lot from him in the future...

                                                                                                                                                                          Those are the dangerous types. They mix just enough truth with their lies to make all of it sound real. They use facts, but present them in such a way that you will interpret them differently. They mention things that really happened and then link them to unrelated events. They pull quotes out of context to support their view. And then they turn it into a movie and cleverly market it.

I would love to see him to a follow up to it where he follows the lives of some of these people outside the gathering so we can see just how well the do function in everyday society.
