Right, but they aren't all banging cards. Many of them are actually on dating sites convincing people to sign up, the problem is they lie to get them to do so hence the high chargebacks.

Why do they chargeback? If you spam someone with links to porn and they sign up I don't see how that's any different than them signing up any other way? I must be missing the trickery..

That's not really how they operate. My experience with chat spammers is that most of the time its guys who approach surfers on social sites/chat rooms and pretend to be girls. They then make wild promises about what they'll do for the surfer if they'll just sign up via their link. Most of the time they even go as far as to tell them how to cancel right after. As soon as the surfer signs up, he then looks for the chat spammer to get his cam show or whatever he was promised only to find they now won't respond to him. He then proceeds to cancel or chargeback his membership. 95% of them violate the term that most programs have in place, no incentivized sales.

Its getting harder and harder for them to operate as many of the programs have blacklisted them. There are groups that recruit them, teach them how to con, and pay them a % of the affiliate sales they bring in - chatsales.com adultchatsales.com I've found that if you block Philippine traffic you'll eliminate 75% of them.

They are all 99% scammers! STAY AWAY

You sound like a chatter, you can't tell the difference between a cancelation and a chargeback and you want to blame the program.

He cancels because you promised him a free 20 min cam show for just signing up, he wasn't expecting to have a pay per minute experience.

Chat traffic is just garbage and will get your affiliate accounts closed.

I could post dozens and dozens of chat conversation screenshots of them doing that very thing. They'll spend 12 hours a day just to get that one sale. One sale a day to an 18 yr old Filipino kid is good money, of course half of them ultimately chargeback.

I have great chat traffic, I know a few affiliate managers who can chime in and verify my credentials. A lower chargeback % than most of any other 'type' of traffic from you 'webmasters' ;-))
