Must be training for some special forces movie or something.

Shooting range and training ground. I was training pistol shooting since 9 year old . After that had a assault riffle training in army. Also you maybe forgot that I live in Moscow - a city where everything is available
There are many places here where you can do shooting exercises. E.g. mgssk.ru, tirmsk.ru, apsrus.ru and many others (some work 24/7, so you can go there at a nighttime). For example, this one is considered as one of the largest indoor shooting ranges in Europe: theobject.ru (12,000 square meters). A gun permission is not required. If you have it (takes about two weeks in Russia), you can buy your own Glock 17 or a semi-automatic riffle: shop.theobject.ru.
BTW, I have a private residence as well (a land and a house in some village near Volga river). However I wouldn't shoot there since my neighbors will not appreciate such exercises... Some forest is a best place for that.Obey the CowgodComment

well just with the amount of rounds being fired and weapons used, it can't be good for his hearing..Shooting range and training ground. I was training pistol shooting since 9 year old . After that it wan an army. Also you maybe forgot that I live in Moscow - a city where everything is available

i was under the impression that sort of safety equipment would be required for insurance reasons.. and makes me wonder where they're doing thisComment

I use to own an M4 (called a Car15 back then) and I can tell you with absolute certainty that a 5.56 report outdoors or indoors will do some serious damage to your unprotected ears.
By the way, he's using ear protection. Look at 18 second mark.

Duno. I have never had a single problem shooting with AK-47 (a classic 7.62 mm model) on the open air. Course I would never do that in a shooting gallery of course. Even shooting with a sport Morgolin pistol (5.6 mm) was like a real torture for my ears, but I knew some guys who haven't wear ear protection in the gallery. To be honest, it was in the Soviet Union sport school of 80's
Nowadays everybody uses ear protection and glasses everywhere and anywhere, because the modern generation are glamour pussies
Yes, just noticed that.Obey the CowgodComment

You should be the last person to comment about how someone looks, blockhead. Bald assholes are always the first to critize someone that has long hair.
Anyone who thinks gun fire doesn't affect their hearing is just plain stupid.Comment

I'm pretty sure that if I had millions in disposable income, and could take months at a time off of work, that I could get myself into enough expensive training courses, (and there are plenty out there), to make myself pretty damn good as well....
As for the hearing protection issue. I will warn CyberSEO that the effects from guns and other loud noises don't make themselves felt until much much later. At 52 years old I am starting to pay the price for a ton of rifle and artillery fire, without hearing protection, in the army. (not in training of course, but in Desert Storm). If I were you bud, I would stop trying to show how macho you are and instead protect your ears. In a few decades you will regret not doing so, and it will be too late to fix it. Don't be stupid.
Just my personal advice.

That's 100% him, it's all over reddit right now, not that I normally read reddit, just checking on some video card questions and happened to see it on the front page.Comment

Man, actually I'm just kidding. The last time I've shot with AK-47 on open air was about 10 years ago. I'm not playing macho, I just say that a rifle shot sound has never been a problem to me if it was on open air (it's just not loud enough for my ears). Course in the indoor shooting galleries I do not shot w/o ear protection. When I was a kid, I did shot w/o ear protectors not because I felt so macho at 9 y/o. That's because it was Soviet Union and our sport club had not enough ear protectors for everybody. Those were very hard times actually. That's why I'm kidding on the new generation and call them pussiesAs for the hearing protection issue. BTW, I still have a 100% hearing, but I've got a slight nearsightedness when was shooting with a rifle (I hate guns with diopter sights after that) in a not well lighten shooting gallery when I was a teenager. I wish I was shooting in the modern Russian groceries instead ;)Obey the CowgodComment

Sorry, did I offend you somehow? I wasn't detracting from his skill. I was pointing out that, having the freedom, in both time and money, to invest in these skills, is a luxury that I don't have in my life right now. I was a certified NRA instructor at one point, and I can tell you that shooting skills like that certainly take some talent, but they mostly take trigger time and training. You yourself might be as good as he is, with the same amount of training time. Quite frankly, I have not spent much time at the range the last couple of years, and I know that my skills have gone way down, because shooting is a degradable skill which must be refreshed often in order to stay up.
I suppose that I do have a certain amount of wry amusement at how worshiped movie stars are in this culture, often times without regard to the access and resources which they have earned themselves. In any case, I didn't realize that you were so vested in this guy and his shooting. Forgive me for offending you please.
