We have a VOD site producing our own content with high end cameras, lighting, a big crew etc... and a full post production : editing, sound creation ( FX, music, mix etc.) NO, I do NOT need any advice on that. BUT...
We want to launch a " B" level VOD site, much cheaper and faster yet with a semblance of professionality. To that end we will hire and PAY !!! a consultant, who is familiar with the following:
1) HD indoor cameras, capable of recording a decent quality HD video and has a separate microphone input.
2) A device able to download and store all the cameras recording. This to be uncompressed and fast.
3) Some inexpensive editing system where the material can be uploaded, edited and then capable of basic sound work ( dialogues, a few FX tracks, a couple of music tracks) and a mix followed by a decent output of finished product.
