I can't tell you how many times I've spent over an hour going back and fourth with a potential client here on GFY, only to find out their budget is 1/3-1/5 of what would be required for their project. Thank you.

I understand your frustration and we'll take it into consideration. I always try and politely ask within the first couple of emails to make sure we're the right company for the client and we don't waste any more of each other's time. It's not always easy to ask because some people do take offence and just assume whatever they say, you will charge.
I get where you're coming from, but I don't know if anyone would even follow it and would offer up the budget publicly, because everyone is always looking for the best deal. -
