Education Poll

I read in the paper today that 97% of jobs take people with G.E.D's now. Which is GREAT!!

So, I wanted to take a poll to see if you graduated, have a GED or H.School Diploma or even some College!!

I went k-11th grade in Pittsburgh , then I moved to Cleveland and their ciriculum was HARD as FUCK! I ended up failing 12th grade cause of it.
And I am going to school right now for my GED. (yesterday was my fist day of testing).

Took me 10 fucking years to get through college. And I only changed majors once. Now, if I can get my girlfriend through college, I can actually quit doing homework.

I Graduated University Of Maryland in 1987. Took me 7 years to finish, But I had a double major, Criminology, and mechanical Drawing. Not to mention I was a major supporter of the Jack Danials Corporation..hahahhaha

Graduated high school then took two years of community college which I graduated with an Associate of Arts degree.

2 years at Brown University studying Chemistry followed by 2.5 years of State school. Finished with a BS Chemistry degree.

Heh-heh-heh... and I've not used that training anywhere, ever. Well, except when making a mixed drink.

I forgot to add that this fall I will be attending college for a course in Emergancy Dispathcing..

that's gonna be a bomb job! Sit down job, with a computer, helpin people out and base salery is around $35K startin out Not too shabby!

Have my Bachelors degree, and 16 credits towards my MBA. Stopped working on the MBA about 3 years ago when I started in this business. Also got tired of all the papers I was having to write.

I completed my specialist in philosophy and minor in psychoanalytic thought last year at the shithole University of Toronto. Right now I'm just taking some time off before I head off to work on my P.H.D.

graduated highschool, spent 3 years asleep in my car in the parking lot of my college.. my now biz partner used to come out from his classes, find my car in the parking lot, knock on the window to wake me up and then we'd program for the next 12 hours... Rewind Repeat. Somehow I've got 2 years of college credit.. I guess you can show up for the exams and every once and a while pull it off.

I got tired of my highschool so I said fuck it. I dropped out before the 10th grade started, got my GED 3 months later, and started college when I was still 16. Graduated at 18 with an associates degree in computer science. Best decision of my life. Public schools really suck in the US.

I left high school in the 10th grade.
gota ged, joined the navy at 17, got out at 18, went to college off and on for my fine arts degree and am going back at some point to learn more programing

I got through high school middle of my class, went to a 2 year college got an associates degree lib. arts, joined the navy and went through the nuke power school for electronics, quit the program and became a bssn. got out of the navy snagged some more credits and am now getting ready to get my b.s. in programing

My high school fucked me over and accidentallly gave me my diploma. Then they took it away without even an apology saying that it was my fault and I should have known better. I got my GED in the mail on Wednesday. I took some college classes in high school and I'm planning on going to college again in October.
By the way it seems strange that I can finish 4 years of high school in 5 hours.
