Designer need for classifieds website

Since the removal of Craigslist personal ads, seems a lot of people are stumbling around trying to find something similar.

I'm looking for a designer that could put together a mostly personal classifieds type of website that would ala Craigslist (in that it's free). I want to make one strictly for men (probably end up for gay/bisexual men), but would want to start it off as men only.

Hey gang,

So I hired a person that seems to be struggling with a simple concept. I know I had posted that I wanted a "classified ads" type of website..but frankly I am NOT looking for anything that has to do with buying, selling etc.

What it comes down to is basically a dating site for MEN, that has a bit of a different take than all the other dating sites out there. I'm looking for PERSONAL ADS from Men for MEN that includes 1)Hook ups 2)Dating 3)Just Friends where one must provide a validated email address to be a member. Also ability to post pics etc. Needs to have a search mechanism involved. This is primarily for United States citizens, but could accept other country men as well.

With the loss of Craigslist which yes, was full of all sorts of slime, it was also full of good people trying to connect at NO charge (which is what I'm about too on this project), but needed an online presence to meet others.

Now I can be reached via email..I personally don't think this is that challenging of a task. I do want the splash page, etc to like professional, and yes, a bit on the sexy side of things. I'm looking for someone to put this together as my time is very limited or I would just tackle it.

So you hired someone and provided no reasonable written specifications that detailed exactly what you wanted and the programmer failed to read your mind correctly so that's why the programmer sucks.

OK; but you need to provide clear specifications to the developer to get what you want.
Just saying you want something similar to another website is not detailed enough.
People can have different opinions about what is similar.
