    To All other writers

    A while back I joined a few writer forums like this, but mainly mainstream and put my post out of what I am experienced at along with my price of 1 cent per word. I?ve received a few writing assignments, but they were on topics I did not particularly care about writing about, health, history, medical etc.
    I?ve received a few upset replies and e-mails from some of the other writers about my price per word, evidently a bit low. According to what I am getting from them is the average price per word should be 3 cents to 4 cents.
    I?m not out to cut throat the market, I am just not sure of today?s average price per word.
    Could some of you writers e-mail and let me know an average price per word, please.

      If you ask me, 1 cent is for simple porn titles/descriptions where you don't need to think too much and do the research, but simply describe what you see using synonyms, adjectives, popular porn keywords, etc., and if you need to invest much more time, then usually it is, as they said, a couple of cents per word.           If you?re thinking of selling for 1c per word, just get your own site and write for yourself. Your content will be yours and you won?t have sold a blog post for 5 bucks

                  Tried my own website.
                  had to go with one of the 'free website' builders, didn't work out very good though, not enough technical knowledge to build a decent one that got any traffic, all that long work and it never went anywhere.
                  Why I'd just provide my services to others and get an income.

                      Not to much luck in the sticks right now. Second month into hunting season and my doctors will not give an 'ok' to go out in the woods, missed it for 4 years now.
                      Can not even go fishing until after a few small surgeries are done.

                          It serves two purposes. Set and forget and an example of your work. There?s another writer on here, Irv, who has a website to check out samples of his work. It builds trust
