Alt coins seem to be in right now. What say GFY had a separate forum for them? Could build into a gold mine of information with guides, links, 'how to's etc etc ?

Whatever change GFY promises it takes months or even years (yeah, it was something "in the process" about some small change that was said like 5 years ago as an example) to implement.
I mean how long does it take to add political subforum? It was weeks if not months already.
So even if they said "yes, we will include crypto subforum" it may take years to actually do that

Creating a new forum in the admin interface takes a few minutes -- once it is decided to be done -- so you are talking about procrastination. Moving the threads that are relevant can be time consuming.
Ad sales might be another consideration but making them global or specific to any forum shouldn't be a real issue.
But then you cannot be everything to everyone or you will become nothing to all.Comment
