Hiring Project Manager / Director Of Operations

Hey guys,

We're hiring a full time project manager (DOP) to manage multiple teams, projects and execute daily tasks across multiple products/brands. Media Reps owns several brands in the online marketing space.

Everything from selling informational courses (dating, pick-up, adult and love) and blogging to traffic buying/selling.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

- Liaise with the tech team to execute new projects and maintain current ongoing projects on their ticketing system.

- Work directly with the CEO to optimize parts of the business and jump on a weekly call to discuss what’s going on and what’s planned.

- Update existing sales funnels to produce more profit, less refunds and less chargebacks.
Use two sales CRM’s to monitor sales, refunds, chargebacks and frauds on a daily basis.

- Work with the email VA to send daily emails to internal and external offers.
Identify weak points or security issues in the sales funnels and worth the tech team to fix those.

- Work with the support team and their ticketing system (mainly the head of support) offering any help they need on support issues.

- Work with the affiliate account manager to help affiliates, pay them and keep the affiliate program running smoothly. Including monitoring affiliate fraud.

- Monthly reporting on internal/external earnings.

- Monthly reporting on chargebacks from affiliates.

- Work with each chargeback representation company to make sure they have access to CRM’s and gateways.

Knowledge, skills and abilities

You will need a working knowledge of the following to be able to converse with the CEO, tech team, support team and individual members of each brand Media Reps manages:

- Video sales letter (VSL): Also Text Sales Letters. We have multiple sales funnels with upsells and downsells in place, selling informational products. VSL’s are a key component. You will need to understand basic copy and be able to talk to the video editors.

- Conversion rate optimization (CRO): We are constantly split testing our sales funnels to improve profitability. You should either know how to set split tests up with Google Optimize or work with the tech team to execute them.

- Email management: Each of our brands rely on email to reach new and existing customers. Knowing how to send emails, scrub lists (email hygiene), use suppression lists etc is very important.

- Risk management/charge backs: Monitoring chargebacks so they don’t go over the threshold is vital, you will be using multiple platforms to monitor these.

- CRM management: Sales, refunds CB’s etc are all handled in Sticky and Rocket Gate, you should have a basic understanding of these. But if not, you’ll need to learn quickly.

- Graphic design: We use graphic designers, but sometimes it’s easier to jump on Canva or Photoshop to get the job done quickly.

- WordPress/CMS: We mostly use WordPress to manage each website and also static (HTML/CSS). You need to know how to use WordPress.

- Domains/Hosting: You’ll be required to register domains, update the DNS in Cloudflare, edit CNAMES, upload files via FTP etc. So knowing how hosting and domain names work is crucial.

Personal Skills Required

- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with a strong ability to influence others.

- Strong leadership skills with a focus on customer service, problem solving, process improvement, and creating new opportunities.

- Strong problem solving skills with a focus on logistics, supply chain, inventory management, quality control, etc.

Required Qualifications/Education

No qualifications are needed.

You do need a basic/intermediate understanding of web technologies such as HTML/CSS and PHP.

You also need to be hard working and a quick learner. Learning on the job is essential.

Experience

You must have at least two years experience with online marketing and be familiar with the terminology and what fits where.

Ideally you would have an all-round skillset. Someone who isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty with basic graphic design, video editing, split testing, CRM management etc if needed.

Working Location

This job is 100% remote and you can work from anywhere. We do have offices in San Diego which you are welcome to visit.

Salary

$6,000 per month plus performance bonuses.
