      I would still consider consulting on Amazon Web Services projects at standard US professional rates $800 half day (4 hours), $1500 for a full 8 hr day, plus any travel expenses.

              There are a lot of great things about the Amazon Web Services platform. It's the most mature cloud platform I have touched. It's the infrastructure behind a lot of household name companies, like Netflix.

              You can instantly provision and de-provision instances of whatever OS meets your requirements - I have gotten familiar and comfortable with Amazon's AMI Linux. The pricing is very affordable. It's possible to do quite a lot on a free-tier t2.micro, but you can build some pretty complex multihost setups in Virtual Private Clusters, or use multiprocessor instances with the mix of RAM and CPU you need. If you create them right, you can resize your server as you need to.

              I like their CDN, Cloudfront, a great deal. The Identity & Access Management framework makes it possible to delegate responsibility that's appropriate for the roles your team members manage and account for the actions that occur through the AWS management console.

              The downside, for me - is that it's easy to use, once you know what you are doing. It's a job killer for System Administrators. So I am not charging you a lot for a single fish, I am teaching you how to catch fish for yourself. And I am helping you learn from my experiences and mistakes, so you don't have to reinvent the wheel.
