Sent a message to company's owner to let her know, and maybe take some action against this...

So I guess that might be a new kind of scam.. Pick an industry, sent a load of friends requests to a bunch of peeps from that industry (some will say yes anyway), snowball effect will create a persona, then start asking money for Pandas, Tigers, kids, whatever.. Sad..

Amazing the numbers of request I have from people, usually a cute girl, with whom I have many mutual friends, but it's obvious that the FB is new, nothing really relevant to industry...

Makes me wonder WHY these legit friends accepted her in the first place ?

First level of "wtf, does anyone even fall for this?" weeds out the sceptics. They don't want to waste their time on people who know how to do even basic due diligence. The ones who do respond are people who are worth spending time on.

My Biz facebook account is a whore. I donno why but I say yes to everyone but like the weird Thai and Indian requests.

Well, mine is kinda whore too

But I only accept people I know, or a few ones who actually have some relevant info on their profile and where there is some business potential with them of company...

How old the account is?
Who are those 100 mutual friends?
Does he/she actually work in the industry? and Where ? As what ? ...

I prolly flush 90% of all requests... And I'm only asking to those where I can see business potential..

Reminds me that spring is coming, so I'll prolly do some Spring Clean Up in there too
