Several words about technologies we use:
Usually we write HTML and styles unique for each single project without any frameworks. It keeps code light and clean. But if it necessary we can use Bootstrap or Foundation, np. We write styles with SASS and provide clients with source .scss files. For big projects we use Jade templating language cause it's easier to maintain when updates are coming. In naming we follow BEM methodology. Before sending to production we compress images and minify .css and .js for better performance (of course non minified files are kept in folder). For small and middle size projects we write comments within .scss and .html/.jade, for big projects we advice to set up a life style documentation engine, such as Source.js.
