I can't remember which GFY user it was i had an argument with a while back who was claiming dogs for example had no feelings or emotions, and simply just obey orders from humans. Even mis-treated dogs don't get sad or miss their owners. They simply miss the person that fed them.
Quite ludicrious claims if you ask me...
