Seems Christie is now being investigated for improper use of funds. Seems Christie got federal funds for reconstruction in NJ after the Sandy storm, and $4mil of it was used to make a commercial about how "NJ is open for business". If I understand this correctly, there was a bidding process for this commercial, and instead of taking the lowest qualified bid they took the highest - which was twice as high lower bid. (Seriously, $4mill for a thirty second commercial? That should be a crime in itself.)
The other problem seems to be the commercial featured Christie and his family - while he was in the middle of campaigning.
Is Christie being targeted because he might be a threat in the next presidential election, or are they setting him up with potential scandals so they can drag them up later when he's running?
