    TopGear Buffs - New Series - Help!

    I am trying to find video clips for a couple of episodes from the last few weeks but I am struggling to find, anyone help me out.

    The first was a race involving a bright yellow ELECTRIC supercar against a regular supercar. The ELECTRIC car won.

    The second was last week or the week before and it was the new lamborghini. I just want a clip of the unveiling bit.

      What about BBC iPlayer don't they have previous episodes on demand... if so you could try screen capture as i guess the only other way would involve using pirated files to cut out what you wanted!

          No, I don't want the photo I want the video clip from Youtube or somewhere. I don't know the name of the cars.

                          The Electric/supercar is the Mercedes SLS AMG e-Cell against the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series.

                          You are correct that the e-Cell was faster in a drag race, but the black series was around 3 seconds faster around the top gear track when driven by the Stig.

                          Also very important things to note about the e-Cell:
                          1) the car is NOT sold with the yellow foiling as it was shown there (stupid I think, but I bet it is not fully street legal with it)
                          2) the car is around 100k pounds more expensive than the black series.
                          3) when it was tested in S+ mode (the only mode it really shows the true power of the 4 e-motors) by clarkson, 40% of the battery was depleted in just _7_ seconds.

                          The tech in it is promising though. Just need better batteries now

                                      Thanks for this, any idea where I can find a clip of the race rather than the lap in the previous post.

                                      What was the other car, the lamborghini?
