Same thing as Sper said. A group of men, armed men, bang on my door demanding for me to open up, I'm grabbing my gun and defending my home and family. 100% the police officers' fault.

So if they didn't say "Police, open up" what did they say? There's virtually no facts in the report of the actual incident. Lots of drama and some tv-land camera shots though. It's more like a fake news report you would see on a drama or in a movie. He said something about it being "the wrong time of day" and then never said what time of day it was. He had on a nice tie and they got shots of badges looking at books all concerned, so... nice job?

I'd like to see a re-enactment of how a person opens a door pointing a gun at someone. Do they crack it open a bit and stick their hand out with a gun in it? Or fling it wide open quickly while standing there with a gun? "deputies say he opened the door pointing a gun at them" well ok then, why ask any questions or get specifics. A good dose of administrative leave should fix it. That's what administrative leave is for after all.

Maybe some day soon an actual report of the incident will come out.

There is a law being passed in some state right now that permits people to shot and kill police officers for unwarranted entry. Though if the cops went to the wrong house and I shot and killed someone for entering my house because they had a gun.. and i didn't get killed in the process.. i'll probably goto jail but it would be a interesting case.
