not sure I understand the question. Tweeting is what you do from your account, retweeting is what others do with your tweets on their accounts or you retweet other peoples tweets on your account.
Are you asking, is it best to tweet about your product & url, then when it's retweeted, which is the best for sales & traffic?

Well the best way to get the best results is to go ahead and put the pic up with the URL and "tweet" it. For best results you can tag other accounts by adding their Twitter name to the tweet as well and if they retweet your tweet, you will get better exposure.Comment
