I don't know of his past dealings.... but I do know that a wire tap durring a HEATED public election.. Dem vs Rep and the Dem. runner has a bug in his headquarters? The Bush administration has been SO shady.. it just gets worse and worse.

It is scary really.... I'm not an alarmist and I know that nothing like this would probably ever happen to me.. but I can say that I'm concerned for the future of my kids.

Street has been involved with numerous shady figures in the Philadelphia community.

He has most of his family on the payroll, his brother was awarded a no-bid multimillion dollar contract to provide baggage services at the Philadelphia airport. His brother has no experience, no staff and only a LLC name just as most of us have for our businessness.

Street's wife has a 92k a year job on the Philadlephia School board. No prior experience in the School board.

Street has numnerous properities in North Philadelphia ( most blighted section) that he himself hasnt paid property taxes on.

He has depleted city coffers with his safe streets ideas of runnign drug dealers from fishtown / kennsington in the ghetto to now make the far northeast, which was once 100k homes only 10 years ago now become a ghetto wasteland of section 8.

Needless to say, he hasnt bothered to see that business of all sorts are leaving the city in droves per the 4.5 city wage tax.

and that he wanted to put a multi-billion dollar stadium in the center of chinatown regadless that there is no parking and the most congested area of Philadelphia there now.

What about when Sam Katz's campgain HQ had a molotov cocktail tossed in the windows last month?.....

Why is it that arrests are at an all time low in Philadelphia for violent crimes?

Why is it that Street has taken money for his campgain from CONVICED drug dealers that were dealing in 50k a week in dope only months before?

Why is it that Philadelphia has record amounts of empty office buildings as the suburbs fill to capacity since he wont give a wage tax break?

Why is it that our Govenor, Ed Rendell ( former mayor) had to basically tell street that he was going to cut all state funding if all union issues at the convention center werent resolved.

There are only the things that we know about. Street is a total and utter diaster on my hometown. I wanted to move back to Philly and get a phat loft, not until that racist bastard is gone.

I'm sure that he will not be re-elected if he's doing so poorly. Does anything you mention above warrant an FBI bug? You should see Street on the news at Night, he is seriously terrified of this incident. The cheif of police was on with him, Neither one of them coudnt stop stuttering and stammering.

Street keeps saying on TV, he has nothing to be afraid of, no idea why the bug was there, he is not involved in any investigation that he is aware of.

I am not a fan of katz, but, I'd vote for my dog before Street.

The Philadelphia FBI headquarters are 6 blocks from City Hall where John Street is. I hope they take him and nail him by his greedy, self serving, moronic sorry ass excuse filled balls.

Thank you for your concern SureFire. This thread was instigated because of a story released earlier today. Police found the wires in the Mayors office. The FBI admitted to puting the wires there. The FBI has some explaining to do.

The Mayors' history isn't the point of my thread, though is history is very suspect. The fact that his office was wired and the FBI admitted to it begs the question as to why. With the current administrations history, I think the answer to that question is very important indeed.

Mayor Street is the worst. I had some harsh words with him when I met him last month. Fortunately I caught myself before I bitchslapped him in front of everyone. He should be ashamed of himself for what he hasn't done for the city of Philadelphia.
